It was an extremely scorching hot sunny month of June with the hot wind 'loo' bellowing right into her skin ready to dehydrated it.

The atmosphere in her home was hotter; like a frog with burning feet she was hopping from office to office, searching for a job to shelter her.

Her husband who had lost his job, sat at home depressed, angry, and mad; pressing her to find a job for herself. It was not a matter of financial instability, but his belief. At least one must go out and work.

Natraj Publishers became her sanctuary. The editor in chief offered her respite by handing her the children's department.

The bright, cheerful, glossy, books in various colors landed on her desk, and her healing started.

She knew God was surely on her side when two young exuberant girls came to sit next to her. In their eccentric laughter, she forgot her abyss, her misery.

The bright colors, cheerful, youthful colleagues, and acceptance into this formal family, reading and writing, provided her with a day-long, therapy.

She returned home peaceful. Gradually her husband also got around finding her happy at work. Two months later he joined a new job.

Maya often thought I would tell my colleagues about their valuable role in holding me in tough times(unknowingly). But never could.

...just before today.
