Chapter - 1

THE LOST LOVE

"Are you guys really busy with your life that you forgot our friendship?" Said charulata out of frustration.

"No charulata, how can we forget the friendship obviously we do remember it's just we are too busy with our work you see?" Said nirav casually.

"Definitely like you see na? You yourself is a lawyer now, nirav is a singer, and me? I am a surgeon and you know being a surgeon ain't an easy work it is a devotional work of day and night!" Said tanvi Cooking food for herself after coming back from her work tired.

"So till how long we have to talk to each other like this on calls? We literally live in the same city! Why can't we meet? Let's meet on Monday night!" Said charulata

"Nahh actually I have an important meeting with my client on Monday so I guess we will meet on Tuesday evening?" Said nirav trying to escape the plan

"Yk it's not possible as I have a night shift that day, it's better if we meet on Sunday afternoon" said tanvi eating her food.

"Yeah okay! That's fine!" Both nirav and charulata agreed with the plan

"So how's your work going on guys?" Asked charulata getting bored.

"I have a concert tomorrow" said nirav.

"That's so cool of you! I wish I could have able to attend it..." Said tanvi in a sad voice.

"How's your work going?" Asked nirav trying to move forward to another topic.

"That's great but I have got a shoking case yesterday...

Yesterday was one of the hardest days of my career. I've seen pain, I've seen injuries, but nothing prepared me for this. A young girl was brought into the emergency room—bruised, trembling, and barely able to speak. She had been raped.

As a surgeon, my first instinct is always to act fast—to stop the bleeding, assess the injuries, and do whatever it takes to stabilize the patient. But this was different. Her body needed care, yes, but so did her mind, her soul. The fear in her eyes, the way she flinched at every touch—it was something I’ll never forget.

I cleaned her wounds, checked for internal injuries, and ensured she was physically safe. But no medical procedure can erase what she had endured. I spoke to her softly, reassured her that she was safe now. Every moment, I reminded myself that I wasn’t just treating a patient—I was trying to help someone put their life back together, piece by piece.

As I walked out of the operating room, I felt a deep anger—anger at the world, at the monsters who do this, at the helplessness victims feel. But I also felt a renewed sense of responsibility. Medicine isn’t just about healing bodies. Sometimes, it’s about standing beside someone in their darkest hour and letting them know they’re not alone.

I don’t think I’ll ever forget her face. And I hope, one day, she finds the strength to heal—not just from the wounds I treated, but from the ones no scalpel can fix.

"Dude that's something about i hate the world" said nirav in a angry voice.

"Ikr it's hard to see such things but you see? No one takes a move for it.."

"You are right tanvi, anyways let's pray to god that he will take care of her and we should just focus on our daily stress relief talks?" Said charulata

"Yeah sure, well nirav.. when are you getting married?"

"NEVER"

"Why?"

"I said it once"

"Dude what's your problem yrr, like its almost 15 years we are friends and from then to now you have been hating on love. What's the matter"

"I better not remember it once again"

"Ugh fine, I won't force"

"Btw, whom will you marry?"

"Definitely my crush!"

"Who's your crush?"

"I won't tell that too soon but just know he's a singer and...."

"And?"

"Leave it"

"C'mon say it babe"

"If I didn't get married to him, I will marry no one else"

"Yeah, that's love, btw you said he's a singer I can talk to him for you?"

"No no it's fine"

"Okay just tell me his name"

"No i can't"

"Tujhe meri kasam tanvi, who's that guy?"

Tanvi got all silent, charulata was confused what was going on when tanvi's assistent rushed up to her and said

"Good evening ma'am"

"Good evening what's the matter mr. Pranav? You look in a hurry?"

"Yes ma'am actually that old man's intestine is having a problem I can't understand, please check it"

"But it's not my shift!"

"Ma'am please help will die"

"Ohk don't worry I would be there"

Saying this tanvi hang up the call in a releif that she would not have to tell who was her crush.

Chapter - 2

THE UNTOLD CONFESSION

By the time nirav was getting worried so he asked charulata about it.

"Who's her crush charulata?'

'uhm- idk-"

"Istg if you didn't tell me I'll cut by nerves"

"NO STOP!"

"SAY IT OR ELSE-"

"FINE!..... Her crush is....is.....'

"Is?"

"It's YOU NIRAV"

"what?-"

"Yeah-"

"Is that true?"

"Hmn.. I am sorry but-"

"I like her too!"

"Wait really?"

'yeah!"

"You motherfucker, why didn't you told me about it before, SHE MOVED ON!"

"Wa-"

"Hmn, why didn't you accepted it when she proposed you on her farewell? '

"Bby i loved her since we met, but I thought that was a prank because everyone was saying that tanvi is going to play a prank on you"

"Yk what? Just move on you can't do anything now!"

"Please"

"I don't know after that day she never talked about you or else we used to talk only about you for Straight 14-16 hours each day"

"Oh- fuck, what now? I want her"

"I don't know I guess you should take her to a date and propose her"

"You sure she will accept"

"Idk but ig you should wait till she comes back home"

Saying this charulata hung up the call regretting why she broke tanvi's trust of not telling anyone about her love?

Chapter -3

A CALL FOR HELP

Tanvi was tired when she was done with her work. She looked at the clock, it was already 3:00 am. She passed a sigh of tiredness and started figuring out how's she going back home? "It's already 3:00, and I am definitely not going home safely alone, i guess u should call nirav to pick and drop me near my home, he must be out somewhere in a bar or maybe sitting in a random park smoking cigarettes" Tanvi thought and dialed nirav's number.

"Hello?"

"Hey tanvi, so late?"

"Yeah, uhm actually I have just done with my work, and it's already pretty late and I want yo-"

"Me to pick you up and drop to your home right?"

"Uh yeah please?"

"Okayyy, I will be there by 3:20 wait for me on the entrance"

"K"

"Is there's someone else in the hospital around?"

"Yeah- there's a nurse"

"Okay so please stay with her and wait for me to arrive"

"Sure"

Tanvi hung up the call and sat on a bench in the park on the entrance of the hospital listening to the music. Within 15 mins nirav appeared with his car.

The deep growl of an engine cut through the silent night as the emerald-green Ferrari rolled up to the curb, its sleek body reflecting the glow of the streetlights. The low hum of power idled beneath its hood, a restrained beast waiting to be unleashed. Its sharp headlights pierced the darkness, casting long shadows against the empty street.

It was beautiful. Tanvi got in without any other thought. She wore the seat belt and asked him to start.

"I won't start the car until you tell me your crush's name"

"NIRAV! ITS 3:00AM I AM TIRED!"

"please....?"

"NO, ILL NOT TELL YOU"

"FINE! I won't start the car either"

"OH GREAT ILL GO AND SLEEP AT THE BACKSEAT" saying this tanvi rushed to the backseat and slept as soon as she laid down.

Nirav looked behind and glanced at her beauty, Her beauty was the kind that lingered in the mind long after a single glance. Her eyes, deep and expressive, held a quiet mystery, as if they carried a thousand unspoken stories. Framed by long, delicate lashes, they shimmered with an intensity that made time slow. Her nose was small and perfectly sculpted, adding to the delicate symmetry of her face. Her lips, soft and heart-shaped, held a natural, effortless grace—even in stillness, they seemed to whisper secrets only the wind could hear.

Her skin, smooth and luminous, glowed with an ethereal softness, as if kissed by the very essence of light itself. The gentle curve of her jawline framed her face with an elegance that felt almost unreal, a perfect blend of innocence and quiet strength. And then there was her hair—long, flowing like the ink of an untold story, cascading in soft waves that framed her face with effortless perfection. There was something enchanting about her, a beauty that wasn’t just seen but felt, leaving an imprint on the soul like the last notes of a haunting melody.

Chapter -4

THE UNKNOWN PLACE

He started his car and parked it in his garage of his own house.

The house stood tall with a bold, geometric design, its sharp lines and layered structure creating a perfect balance of modernity and elegance. The interplay of materials—smooth concrete, rich wooden accents, and sleek glass railings—gave it a striking presence. Soft, ambient lighting traced its edges, emphasizing the depth and contrast of its architectural volumes.

The upper level extended outward, forming a spacious balcony with transparent railings, adding an airy openness to the design. Below, large windows framed the façade, allowing glimpses of the luxurious interior. A sturdy yet stylish entrance, flanked by solid pillars, led into the heart of the home, where every detail spoke of refinement and sophistication.

He carried tanvi with both of his hands and laid her down in his luxury bedroom. And he himself went to the living room to sleep on the sofa. It was 8 in the morning when sunlight fell on his face awaking him from his sleep. He went to his bedroom and tanvi was still sleeping there. He cooked breakfast for her and rolled up the curtains. As soon as the sunlight fell on tanvi's face she screamed out loud because she couldn't recognise where she was.

"Why are you shouting?"

"Where I am? Who are you?"

"C'mon stop with your drama you are in my home and go brush your teeth and eat your breakfast"

"But why am I at your place?"

"Because it was late and I didn't felt right to leave you home alone so yeah, now GO"

Tanvi quickly brushed her teeth and sat down eating her breakfast, it was very tasty, she enjoyed eating every bite of it. Soon she finished it and nirav picked up the dishes and straightaway went to the kitchen, tanvi followed him there where he was washing those dishes, they both started gossiping about others when nirav's phone rang

"Who's it tanvi?"

"Uh it shows PRANAV"

"pick it up and put it on speaker" nirav said to tanvi still busy washing dishes and doing other house chores.

"Yoo vaii! How are you?"

"Am fine pranav, what about you?"

"Are jaa na dramebazz, tell me honestly did confessed?

"Confessed what?!"

"Confessed to my bhabhi, tanvi? You said na?"

"Are bhai, I'll talk to you later" nirav hurriedly hung up the call. Tanvi picked up a knife and placed on nirav's neck asking what the pranav spoke about

"Uh, chutiya h bhai woh bhul Jaa"

Tanvi smiled a bit but then she closed that matter there. When nirav was done with his work, he dropped tanvi to her house. As soon as she stepped inside she fell on her bed and fall asleep. When nirav reached back home he called pranav back "Abe bhen ke lund, she was standing infront of me and my phone was on speaker"

"You should have told me before!"

"Ugh leave it, well I will ask her to meet me at night, I'll confess to her definitely"

"Yeah best of luck"

"Thanks"

Chapter - 5

MIDNIGHT WHISPERS AND BURNING ROADS

It was already 12:00 while tanvi was reading a book. Her phone rang and nirav's namd popped up, she was shocked and tensed because nirav rarely ever first texts or messages.

"Hello?"

"Hey, how are you?"

"Why did you called so late?"

"Actually I want to meet you"

"Is everything's right nirav?"

"Yeah, i just wanted to meet you, I will come to pick you up"

"Yeah sure"

"By when will you be ready?"

"Ugh i don't know, i have to decide the dress too!"

"Uhm wear that black dress i gifted you on your birthday last year"

"Oks, i think it will take atleast 2 hours for me to get ready"

"It's okay just give me missed call and I'll be there"

She got ready by 1:30am.

Her dress was pretty hot. The dress embraced her silhouette with effortless elegance, a masterpiece of simplicity and sophistication. Its deep black fabric, smooth yet textured, whispered a quiet luxury. A silver zipper, bold yet refined, ran down the front, a touch of modern edge in an otherwise timeless design.

Resting just above the knee, the dress carried an air of understated confidence, its structure crisp yet inviting. Two neatly placed pockets, adorned with delicate metallic buttons, added a hint of utility without compromising its charm. It was not just a dress—it was a statement, a quiet power woven into fabric, ready to turn heads without a single word.

She called nirav and her door bell rung, she opened and saw nirav standing there, he was wearing the outfit she gifted him on his birthday.

The outfit was a masterclass in understated elegance. A sleek black turtleneck, fitted perfectly, layered beneath a long black coat that draped effortlessly over the shoulders. The trousers, a muted gray with a subtle checkered pattern, added a refined contrast, tailored to perfection. A slim black belt with a silver buckle cinched the waist, tying the entire look together with a touch of sharp sophistication.

She looked into his eyes, he was already lost in her. She waved in front when he realised, she passed a smile and they both sat in the car.

The car stood there, a masterpiece sculpted from speed and precision, bathed in a fiery shade of orange that seemed to ignite under the soft daylight. Its sleek, aerodynamic body hugged the pavement, every curve and angle designed for both elegance and dominance. The sharp LED headlights gleamed like a predator’s eyes, while the black accents along the front and side vents added a striking contrast to its bold exterior. Low, wide, and impossibly aggressive, it wasn’t just a car—it was a statement, a force waiting to be unleashed on the open road.

Chapter - 6

THE ROMANTIC DATE

The terrace was bathed in the soft glow of fairy lights, their golden shimmer blending with the silver moonlight. A gentle breeze carried the faint scent of jasmine, weaving through the air like an invisible melody. The city stretched below, its distant lights twinkling like fallen stars, but up here, time seemed to slow, the world reduced to just the two of them.

Music played softly in the background—a soothing tune, neither too loud nor too faint, just enough to let their hearts sync with its rhythm. The floor was adorned with scattered rose petals, their fragrance mingling with the night air, adding to the dreamy atmosphere.

She stood near the railing, looking at the endless sky, while he watched her—his gaze filled with something unspoken, something deep.

“May I?” he asked, holding out a hand.

She turned, a small smile curving her lips before she placed her hand in his. He pulled her close, their fingers intertwining as they swayed gently to the music. There was no rush, no need for words—just the warmth of each other, the soft hum of the night, and the way their hearts whispered in a language only they understood.

The dance wasn’t extravagant; it was slow, intimate, a silent conversation through movement. He twirled her under the moonlight, her laughter light and carefree, before pulling her back into his arms.

“Perfect,” he murmured, resting his forehead against hers.

“For the night?” she asked softly.

“For you.”

And as they continued dancing, lost in their little world above the city, the stars above seemed to shine just a little brighter—for them, for this moment, for love unfolding in the quiet of the night.

Since they were drunk, it was completely normal. She was tired so he left her sit on the chair. With a lots of courage, he spoke

"Tanvi, actually I wanna tell you smth'

"Go ahead"

"Actually, I am really sorry first of all that I rejected your proposal"

"Oh nirav just forgot it, it's past"

"Yeah i know, i wanted to say, I love you"

"Hmn.... What?"

"I LOVE YOU"

"can't hear, louder"

"I LOVE YOU"

tanvi laughed.

"Why are you laughing?"

"Why did you rejected me before?"

"I thought it's a prank"

"Oh"

Nirav casually said.

"Will you be my wife?"

Tanvi was in complete shock, she was overwhelmed. Not knowing what she's gonna do now. She stood up and said "i am going to washroom, i need time"

Chapter - 7

ACCEPTION OR MOVED ON?

Tanvi was furious and overwhelmed by what happened. She called charulata asking for help, she explained her everything 50/50 what had happened.

"See, it's completely your wish either you want him to be yours or not'

"But I can't understand, help me"

"It's a life descision and I can't do it for you!"

"Atleast support me"

"Bby just do what you feel right, today, I won't say a word" saying this charulata hung up the call. Tanvi sat on the floor tryna figure out what she's gonna do.

Meanwhile nirav was very tensed about what tanvi's gonna say. He called charulata, seeking for help

"I know nirav why you called me..."

"IF YOU KNOW THEN TELL ME NA WHAT'S GOING ON?'

"YEAH YEAH- i don't know what she's gonna say I just told her to do what she feels right"

"Ohh, but it's so late, why ain't she coming out?"

"She's overwhelmed. Just calm down nirav. Everything would go as destined."

"Yeah-" saying this nirav hung up the call.

Soon the door of the washroom opened, nirav looked up and tanvi appeared. She sat in front of nirav.

"I have the descision"

"Yeah so what is it?"

"Hmm... We are not friends anymore."

"....."

"..."

"What?" Nirav's eyes were filled with tears.

"Yes"

"I am sorry"

"Actually because I am your finance"

"HEIN???"

"YESS"

"REALLY?"

"BELIEVE ME"

Nirav stood up a kissed tanvi on her lips.

So when are we telling this news to our parents?"

"Tommorow?"

"How?"

"By going to Delhi"

"Hey, that's a good idea, we can surprise them also"

"Yeahh"

"Let's go baby, I will drop you home and then we will leave together for Delhi" nirav kissed her hands, and he dropped her back home.

She stepped inside and get dressed up.

The dress was a vision of effortless elegance, its deep crimson hue exuding warmth and confidence. Crafted from a soft, flowing fabric, it draped gracefully over the body, hugging every curve with a touch of understated allure. The wrap-style design cinched delicately at the waist, accentuating the silhouette, while gentle ruching added depth and texture to the ensemble.

Long sleeves lent a sense of refinement, their sleek fit complementing the deep V-neckline, which hinted at sophistication with just the right amount of intrigue. The asymmetrical hemline cascaded in a soft waterfall, revealing a daring yet graceful slit that whispered mystery with every step.

Paired with sleek, pointed-toe heels in a matching shade of wine red, the outfit was a statement of poise, confidence, and timeless charm—an ensemble meant to captivate without a single word spoken.

It was already 7:00 in the morning when tanvi called nirav to pick her up. Nirav rushed to her house.

He carried an effortless charm in his attire—relaxed yet meticulously put together. A crisp white t-shirt served as the foundation, a timeless staple that whispered simplicity. Over it, a light blue denim shirt, unbuttoned and casually draped, softened the look with its airy, laid-back feel. The loose sleeves, slightly rolled up, hinted at a carefree attitude, one that thrived in quiet confidence.

Paired with wide-legged, off-white trousers, the outfit balanced comfort and sophistication. The fabric moved fluidly with each step, adding an understated elegance to his relaxed demeanor. Clean white sneakers grounded the ensemble, their minimalist design reinforcing the effortless aesthetic. A sleek black tote slung over his shoulder added a modern edge, while dark sunglasses and wireless earbuds sealed the look with a touch of nonchalant coolness.

Tanvi was lost the way his messy hairs come upon his face.

Chapter - 8

BACK TO THE HOMETOWN

"Jai maa jagadamba!"

"What?"

"Just remembering God before the flight starts so that we will reach safely"

"Haha you are stupid tanvi, nothing happens"

"It do"

By 6 in the evening they both arrived in Delhi, they hugged each other and left for their homes.

Chapter - 9

NIRAV'S HOME

Nestled beneath the shade of lush green branches, the house stood with a quiet, timeless elegance. Its sloping terracotta-tiled roof gleamed warmly under the morning sun, sheltering a sturdy wooden porch adorned with intricate carvings. The entrance, framed by strong wooden pillars, invited visitors into a world where tradition met comfort.

Hanging lanterns swayed gently in the breeze, casting soft shadows against the white-walled façade. A neatly paved path, flanked by vibrant greenery, led up to the welcoming doorstep, where potted plants added life to the serene ambiance. The house, a perfect blend of rustic charm and understated grandeur, stood as a testament to heritage, whispering stories of warmth, family, and unwavering tradition.

Nirav knocked on the door.

"Beta, see who's on the door"

"Yes papa"

The door opened and seeing nirav in front, her sister hugged him.

"Tujhe yaad waad nhi aati h kya humari?"

"Ati h na jiji, tabhi to aya hu"

"Ander chal, me or baba kab se tera intezar kar rahe h"

Nirav and his sister (Shanaya) went inside. His father saw him and tears rolled down his cheeks, he hugged him and he sat near Shanaya.

"Beta, how are you?"

"I am fine baba, what about you"

"Bus beta Teri hi raah dekh rahe the"

"Or batao jiji, koi jija layi ho?"

Shanaya blushed, his father stood up and said "i think you guys should talk to eachother, i should go" and went to the garden.

"So dear nirav, I have someone whom I love and we are soon getting married"

"Woah really?"

"Yeah-"

"Show me how he looks"

Shanaya showed him a picture.

He has a calm yet intense presence, the kind of guy who probably speaks less but observes everything. His sharp facial features and deep, thoughtful eyes make him look like someone who doesn’t just talk for the sake of it—he means what he says. His slightly tousled dark hair adds to his effortless charm, and the way he carries himself suggests quiet confidence.

His outfit, an open-front light blue cardigan, gives off a laid-back yet stylish vibe, like he knows how to balance elegance and casual comfort. The small pendant on his chain tells me he might be someone who holds sentimental value in little things, which is a good trait in a life partner.

She showed him another picture

he gives off a different yet equally striking vibe here. While the first image had him looking intense and confident, this one feels more introspective and artistic.

The warm lighting casts a golden hue on his face, highlighting his delicate yet sharp features. His dark hair is slightly messy but effortlessly stylish, and his eyes seem deep in thought as he captures his reflection. He wears a black graphic sweatshirt, giving him a casual and trendy look. The way he holds his phone, with a subtle finger pose, suggests a certain finesse—maybe he’s the kind of guy who knows his angles well and enjoys capturing aesthetic moments.

"Wow jiji, he's handsome, I don't know but I feel like I have seen him somewhere before. What's his identity?"

"His name is vihan, and he's a rapper "lilecho"

"Hey that's vihan... He was my friend"

"Hein? How"

"When I was 14 I used to take singing classes and he was the son of my guru Shri raghav"

"Wow, so you must be happy?"

"Yes actually I will have a Collab with him"

"That's cool, actually I don't know what you are exactly doing, can you introduce?"

"Yeah I am a singer shadowvortex"

"Wait, is that you?"

"Yeah"

"Demn, I have heard about you a lot!

"Obv, I the most famous singer in india"

"Congratulations brother"

"Thanks"

"So, have you found a bhabhi for me?"

"Yes"

"REALLY?! WHO??"

"Calm down, I will show you her pics"

Nirav showed her the pictures of tanvi

Her face held the same quiet elegance, a harmony of softness and sharpness that made it unforgettable. Her almond-shaped eyes, deep and expressive, carried a gentle warmth, framed by delicately arched brows that gave her an air of quiet confidence. A small, upturned nose added to the youthful charm of her face, complementing the natural glow of her smooth skin. Her lips, curved into a subtle smile, had the same softness—neither too full nor too thin, just enough to leave an impression. Even with her hair pulled back, a few loose strands framed her face, accentuating the gentle contours of her features, making her beauty feel both effortless and striking.

Her face was a perfect blend of innocence and mischief, framed by long, dark hair that cascaded down her shoulders. A delicate yellow flower tucked behind her ear added a touch of effortless charm. Her deep, expressive eyes gleamed with a quiet joy, their warmth amplified by the soft curve of her brows. Her nose, dainty yet defined, complemented the radiant smile that graced her lips—a smile so full of life it seemed to brighten everything around her. The way she turned, glancing back, made it seem as if she carried a secret happiness, one only she truly understood.

"Wow she's pretty"

"Ikr jiji"

"What's her name?"

"Tanvi"

"That girl from your school?"

"Yes"

"Demn you guys are still together?"

"Yeah"

"Wait, she was your crush right? And now you are getting married wow"

"I know it's a happiness, she also loved me"

"That's great! What's she doing now?"

"She's a surgeon in arogya crest hospital"

"Wow that's a big deal!"

"Ikr jiji, what are you doing?"

"I am a fashion designer of saira mode company"

"Good good"

"Come let's have a tea and you can sleep, you must be tired"

Chapter - 10

TANVI'S HOME

The house stood with a quiet grace, a perfect blend of tradition and warmth. Its wooden pillars, carved with precision, held up a sloping terracotta roof, whispering tales of a time when craftsmanship was an art. The entrance, framed by a polished wooden door with delicate grillwork, exuded an inviting charm.

A small, green-tiled window above the door caught the morning light, casting soft patterns on the stone steps below. Two swings, hanging on either side of the porch, swayed gently in the breeze, waiting for someone to sink into their comforting embrace. Potted plants rested on the steps, their lush green leaves adding life to the earthy tones of the façade.

Tanvi knocked on the door, her mother opened and she hugged her tightly. Her mother led her in where her brother and father was sitting. Seeing their daughter and sister after so long they hugged her. Her father and mother went inside, leaving the two siblings talk.

"How are you Kunal?"

"I am good didi, how are you?"

"Me too! What are you doing these days?"

"I am a photographer, I work in celestial studio"

"That's good"

"Yes didi, and I know you are a surgeon"

"Yeah"

"Do you have a boyfriend?"

"Yes.."

"Who?"

"Nirav"

"Oh that bhaiya? He's cool"

"Ikr"

"He's a singer na? I am his fan!"

"Then you must be very lucky"

"Yes!"

"Do you have a girlfriend?"

"No actually I had crush on Ridhima, but she's in relationship with my bestfriend shaan, and I didn't knew about it"

"Oh that's sad"

"Yeah and now I don't have any crush or girlfriend, she was my first and last"

"It's okay Kunal to feel like that, i am with you"

"Didi did you told papa about nirav bhaiya?"

"Not yet"

Her father and mother were listening to their conversation from behind the curtains

"She's in love sidhu"

"So? We have already given our words to omkar's parents that tanvi will marry him"

"But sidhu you see? She's in love?"

" I don't care! She will marry omkar"

Her father couldn't say anything, so he asked sidhi (her mother) to ask her to marry omkar

"Beta tannu.."

"Ji maa"

"Beta, go and take rest, kal subah ladke waale dekhne aa rahe h'

"Wdym maa i have already given my hands to nirav!"

"I don't care you have to marry omkar"

"No way I love nirav and I will marry him"

"Go to sleep and you have to get ready tomorrow"

"Maa"

"Beta tujhe meri kasam"

Tanvi was helpless, she went into her room and tucked her head inside the pillow and cried.

Chapter - 11

THE ARRANGE MARRIAGE

The next morning ger mother tried to wake her up. She tried to convince tanvi but she was not ready to even see omkar.

"Beta maine tujhe apni Kasam di thi"

"Theek h maa"

She got up and took a quick bath.

She wore a dress that hugged her frame like a second skin, its mustard-yellow hue radiating warmth against the cold air. The ribbed knit fabric stretched effortlessly, accentuating every curve while offering comfort in its soft embrace. A high, draped cowl neck cascaded gently around her collarbone, adding an air of effortless elegance. The long sleeves extended gracefully to her wrists, shielding her arms from the chill, while the hemline stopped daringly above the knee, striking the perfect balance between boldness and sophistication. It was a dress that whispered confidence with every step she took.

She came out of her room. Omkaar was sitting there. Their parents ask them to sit together in a room.

"Hey, it's omkaar"

"Nice to meet you, I am tanvi"

"Sweet name"

"Thanks"

"So what do you do?"

"I am a surgeon in arogya crest hospital"

"Oh that's great, I am a vlogger

"Vibewithomkaar" I have 25m subscribers"

"Oh that's good (nirav gets this much plays in his new song within 12 minutes)"

"You look pretty"

"Ikr"

Omkaar was handsome too!

His face was a masterpiece of delicate features and quiet confidence. Smooth, pale skin glowed under the soft stage lights, untouched by imperfections. His dark, expressive eyes held an intensity that could pierce through the crowd, framed by long lashes that cast fleeting shadows over his cheeks. A gentle curve graced his lips, as if caught between a smile and a secret, while his sharp jawline lent him an effortless elegance. His raven-black hair, parted slightly in the middle, fell in soft strands around his face, accentuating the quiet mystery in his expression.

He was wearing a outfit

Draped in effortless elegance, he wore a muted charcoal-gray T-shirt, its fabric falling loosely over his frame, exuding an air of relaxed confidence. The sleeves hung just above his elbows, the hem casually tucked into sleek black trousers that flowed straight down to his ankles. The tailored fit of the pants accentuated his height, lending him a poised and refined silhouette. In one hand, he held a beige coat, its soft folds hinting at understated luxury, while his feet were grounded in pristine white sneakers—simple yet striking. The ensemble, a perfect blend of modern minimalism and quiet sophistication.

"See, I dont want to marry you"

"Why?"

"Because I love nirav"

"Nirav... Hmn actually same i also don't wanna marry you, my parents are forcing me to do so."

"Then that's a good thing we can both say that we didn't liked eachother"

"Yeah, but I love you"

"What?!"

"Nothing, let's go out to deny"

They went out

"So how's the experience?"

"It's bad, I don't wanna marry him" replied tanvi

"I love her, i will marry her" said omkaar. Tanvi looked at him feeling betrayed, just because omkaar accepted her everyone else believed and got ready to get them married. Soon omkar's family returned. Tanvi called nirav and asked him to meet in a café.

"I don't have time!"

"Please"

"Fine, remember how he used to treat you?"

"Yes"

"That not because he loved you, he loved your body"

"Huh"

"Yes and because my crush on you was a secret, but everyone knows that you had crush on me, he started hating on me because he knew I liked you too and we were more than friends"

"Haw"

"And that's the reason why we were in a distance for years!'

"Ohh so that's why everyone asked me to ignore omkaar, like I actually did?"

"Yes!"

"Now we are going to your home, I have to reveal everything to your parents"

In that moment, he was not just a groom—he was a prince awaiting his queen.

And these dresses were brought by charulata and tanvi as a gift for everyone.

Chapter - 16

TRAGIC

When everyone were leaving for the wedding, charulata suggested that nirav and tanvi should go together all alone. Everyone agreed. Everyone arrived to wedding hall by taxis or public transportation, but nirav took tanvi with him in his car. In the middle of the way tanvi asked.

"Bby, what if I died someday?"

"Wtf, shut up nothing's gonna happen to you"

"But you know that's the reality I will die one day."

"Then I pray to lord Ganesha that I die before you"

"Haha, no i will'

"Acha okay then please complete my one wish"

"What?"

"You remember, you used to sing a song for your crush"

"Uhm yeahh"

"Can you sing that for me when I must be counting my last breaths"

"Shut up!"

" I don't even remember the lyrics baby"

Chapter - 18

THE LAST SONG

The hospital room felt hollow, filled with the rhythmic beeping of machines that mocked her with their false promise of life. The air was thick with the scent of antiseptic, but she barely noticed. All she saw was him—his once-strong frame now reduced to fragile bones, his lips cracked, his breaths shallow.

She had promised him.

So she sang.

Her voice trembled, broken by sobs she could no longer swallow.

---

Was this the time? Was this the place?

Where we met, where we laughed, where I felt your grace?

We were just friends—at least, that’s what I knew,

But somewhere in silence, my heart fell for you.

I was scared to confess, so I waited instead,

You left me hints that still haunt my head.

I thought they were real—I swore they were true,

But deep down, I knew… something wasn’t you.

I let new people into my life,

But they were just shadows, echoes of lies.

You saw through them, you knew they were fake,

Yet you never warned me—was that my mistake?

You gave me hints, I brushed them away,

Told myself lies just to get through the day.

I pushed you aside, drowning in pride,

Told you to leave—never thought you’d abide.

But when you were gone, regret held me tight,

I reached out too late—couldn’t make it right.

I’ve loved you for a thousand years,

And I’ve drowned in a thousand tears.

Then came the words that shattered my soul,

"He’s leaving the country—he’s letting go."

"What?! No… this can’t be true…"

Come back—I swear, I’ll just be your friend if you do.

But you left… without looking back,

And I stood there, love slipping through the cracks.

Still waiting for a thousand more,

Still dying for a love that was never in store.

---

Her voice cracked. Her throat burned. She clutched his hand tighter, willing him to stay, begging him to hold on just a little longer. His eyelids fluttered, his lips parting slightly, but no words came.

She continued, though her tears blurred the lyrics.

---

Express the pain, don’t bury it deep,

Don’t walk away—don’t leave me to weep.

I’m still breathing, but only for you,

Instead, I pray—let fate pull us through.

I was never far, never out of sight,

Yet some wishes still burn in the night.

Tell me, will you come back or not?

Or must I wake to a day where desire is lost?

Where should I take you—where do you belong?

Why do you stare at the sky so long?

When I left my love for you on the ground,

Yet you search for answers where none are found.

My heart is open, still waiting in vain,

Telling our story through whispers of pain.

Give me a sign—just one little clue,

That somewhere, somehow, you’re searching too.

I still find you in the silence, the space,

A void only you could replace.

This love was never just an attraction,

Don’t you see? I’m drowning in fraction.

Smiles forgotten, lost in tears,

A love that endured through endless years.

What’s the use of reasons and lies?

When love never fades, it only cries.

Wherever you call, I’ll follow blind,

But tell me—am I cursed, or is fate unkind?

Is it me, or is it you who’s lost?

Or were we both just doomed from the start?

Lost—you were, but only for me.

Loved you so hard, yet you let me bleed.

I know… I had to forget you,

But every time I tried… I swear, you were my last.

---

Her voice wavered on the final words. She leaned closer, pressing her forehead against his, her tears falling onto his pale skin.

His fingers weakly curled around hers. His lips trembled. And in the faintest whisper, he breathed, "Finished... you finished it... You naughty women, you....you remembered it"

And then—silence.

The beeping stopped.

Her body froze.

For a moment, the world stood still, and then it shattered.

"No…" Her voice cracked, barely a whisper. "No, no, no… wake up… you promised—"

She shook him, pressed frantic kisses against his knuckles, his forehead, his lips. "Wake up, please, please, please," she begged, her voice breaking, her heart ripping apart at the seams.

But he was gone.

And with him, so was she.

That night, she fulfilled her second promise.

In the morning, the nurses found them—her head resting beside his, her body lifeless, their hands still intertwined.

Two hearts that had beaten for each other, now silent.

A love story unfinished.

A song that would never be sung again.
