The Obligations...

Martha was feeling very sorry for the conduct of her son Ruth. She always tried to give Ruth the best teachings, but he had always ignored her. As Ruth is the only child of Martha and she had gone through lots of hurdles to brought him up. The attachment of Ruth with mafias always keeps her in fear of losing him. She heard of the activities of the mafias and their mercilessness. Even several times she had seen the fights of mafia groups while during her early days when Ruth was only one year old. During that time Martha was working in one of the tea gardens of Sheryl. Martha was very sincere in her work and always tried to give her the best. The mafias during that time tried to exploit the young poor people to get their work done. The hills of Sheryl and all her gardens were the place, where they were been engaged with their illegal activities. Several times they tried to destroy the business of Sheryl.

But Sheryl was very intelligent and handled them cleverly. Even during one clash between mafias and workers of the garden Ruth’s father lost his life. Martha could not save him. She had always told her husband to keep distance from the mafias, but he never listened to her. Lastly, he lost his life. That time Martha completely broke down and clueless how to lead her life with one year old son Ruth. Mr Vincent knew the potentiality of Martha. During the visit of Sheryl after that deadly incident Mr Vincent introduced Martha to Sheryl. That day Martha realized that Sheryl had a big heart and she really cares for her people. Sheryl consoled Martha and offered her the job of caretaker of her house. She assured Martha to take care of the education of her son Ruth. Martha knew that Sheryl was trying to educate all the poor workers children and for that many steps were been taken by her. Then Martha agreed to Sheryl’s offer and joined as the caretaker of Sheryl’s house, which was converted to museum later.

During that time Sheryl used to come for very few days and after completing her all-business work, she used to return to Cochin. That time Charu used to accompany Sheryl. Martha used to take care of Charu as her own child. Charu used to play with Ruth. As Ruth grew older then Sheryl asked Martha to send him to the school. She had given all the help for getting Ruth admitted to the school. Martha remembered that Sheryl used to send gifts for Ruth in his birthdays and Chris-mas . Even Charu sometimes gave gifts to Ruth. Martha remembered when the museum had started Mr Anthony wanted his people to be appointed there. But Sheryl insisted and appointed Martha as the caretaker of the museum. Also, Sheryl had consulted with Martha while appointing other staffs. During that time Mr Anthony had a very tough fight with Sheryl for Martha and other’s appointment. But Sheryl had taken the decision and empowered Martha as caretaker.

That time Vincent supported Sheryl and Martha. As Mr Anthony was staying here and Sheryl was in Cochin, Martha used to do her duty with lots of fear. She used to see the illegal activities of Anthony and his link with mafias. Anthony used to threat her to keep silence on these. But Sheryl was so intelligent that during her short visits she came to know about the activities of Anthony. She came to know about Anthony’s link with Egypt. Sheryl had told Martha to keep her informing secretly and given a separate phone for that. Martha had seen several times Sheryl and Anthony used have very hot discussions on illegal business, mafias and other matters, but Sheryl had never brought Martha’s name in picture. She was very protective for Martha and Ruth. Martha never faced any problems even after the death of her husband to grow up Ruth. Sheryl was always helping her. Sheryl used to trust Martha and give her lots of freedom in work. This relationship between Sheryl and Martha was never liked by Anthony.

He always wanted to get rid of both of them. But he was very well aware of Sheryl’s intelligence and power, so he never tried to have a direct attack on any one of them. Anthony wanted to be the most powerful person. He wanted to have his all illegal business freely but was never been able to do so due to the presence of Martha around there. Also, he knew that both Martha and Sheryl have the support of Vincent. When Ruth was in class eight and was doing well in study Martha was feeling very happy for that. She was giving thanks to Sheryl for her help and used to focus more on her work to make her happy. She was very much obelized to Sheryl. This was the time Martha left her son Ruth to have his own time to concentrate on study. She had given Ruth freedom as she knew that Ruth will not do any wrong thing. Ruth was too very serious about his study. He was having very few good friends and used to spend quality time with them.

Anthony was following all these developments and was always in search of a way to destroy Martha and Sheryl. As Anthony was in illegal business and having strong connection with mafias, he through this power had kept some police and political people under his unofficial service. This was also known to Sheryl and Martha. Anthony was growing his strength to get rid of Sheryl to take over all her properties and wealth. Anthony’s son Darana who was from his first wife took over the illegal drug and narcotic business. He had organized a big gang of mafias and leading them with the support of Anthony. Darana was five years elder to Charu . When Sheryl came to know about all these things, she sends Charu to USA. She wanted to keep her daughter away from all these people. Here one day while Ruth was returning from school, he was attacked by some unknown people and to save his life Ruth ran to his house. After reaching house Ruth realized that he had lost his school bag there. He told Martha about all that incident. Then Martha told him to go with him there to get his bag. Just they were about to leave their house Martha saw two police men came with Ruth’s bag and said,’’ Your son is doing drug business. We found the drug packets from his bag and he is under arrest.’’

They showed some drug packets to Martha took away Ruth with them. Ruth was crying and saying loudly that he was innocent and never knew anything about drugs. Martha was very much worried and she made a call to Sheryl. Martha explained Sheryl everything with rears in her eyes. Sheryl consoled her and said,’’ I knew who had done this to you. Don’t be worried. I am sending lawyers to get Ruth out from the jail will be there tomorrow and will see that Ruth will be free from this false allegation.’’ Martha can’t forget that moment. Her only child was behind the bar for no reason. Next day the lawyers came and understood all details from Martha.

After sometime Sheryl had reached there. Sheryl called her private detective team to Martha’s place and discussed the matter. They left for the place, where Ruth was attacked. Sheryl told Martha,’’ Don’t worry. My team will come with the evidence to prove Ruth innocent. Have faith on me. I had engaged these people for our protection. This is not known to anybody. Just wait and have patience.’’ After one hour the detective team came with a video recording showing how Ruth was attacked and ran away from there leaving his bag. Also how those two policemen and the attackers opened his bag and kept the drug packets in Ruth’s bag. Then with that video Sheryl and Martha went to the police station. The lawyers send by Sheryl saw the video and along with them met the police officer. They asked the police officer,’’ Now tell us who is the culprit? If you want to punish this innocent young boy for none of his wrong doing, then this video will be enough to take legal actions against you. Now it will be wise to leave Ruth and punish those two attackers along with your two police men. We hope you will do the justice. You can keep this video for your reference.” Then the police officer was forced to free Ruth with clean chit and suspended those two police men. That kindness and action of Sheryl made Martha loaded with the obligations of Sheryl. That incident made Ruth internally down and he took the pledge to be a big mafia and finish his all known and unknown attackers. Then he slowly tried to develop his links with Darana. He wanted to take revenge.

 Martha came to know about Ruth’s link with Darana and mafias after he was arrested in the case of attacking Charu recently. That time Charu too had come to Martha and like Sheryl helped her. Even after the death of Sheryl Charu came here and dealt with Martha as Sheryl was dealing. Charu had trusted both Martha and Ruth. These loads of the obligations of Sheryl and Charu forced Martha to sit with her son Ruth in the night before the day of execution of Darana’s plan to finish Yuvaan and Charu to retrieve the sword. Martha narrated the entire things to her son Ruth. She told him that now the time has come for both of them to show their loyalty to Sheryl and Charu and repay the obligations. Even Martha explained Ruth that Darana is the son of Anthony, who had tried many times to finisthem. The childhood false drug case on Ruth was planted by both Anthony and Darana. So how can he help Darana who had tried to finish his carrier? Ruth listened to Martha all and recalled his old memories and thought of his revenge. Then he decided that now the time has come to take revenge on Darana and save Charu along with Yuvaan. He saw his mother Martha was crying and saying,’’ I can’t forgive myself if anything will go wrong with Charu. God will never forgive to both of them for being a party to destroy Sheryl’s daughter. ’This had influenced Ruth and he decided to take revenge on Darana and protect Charu.

As Charu, Yuvaan,Abhay, Ruth, and Darana are in the submarine den underneath the link for their final face off. All are very careful and making their move accordingly. Charu and Yuvaan on one side. Darana along with Abhay and Ruth in otherside. Charu now could see Vincent being tied in a room from the window of that room. She asked Yuvaan to get into that room through the window and free Vincent. Yuvaan get inside with Charu’s help. Then Charu started to procced slowly and saw all Darana,Abhay and Ruth. Darana asked Charu on gun point about Yuvaan and the sowrd. Abhay joined him too. Charu tried to smile and said,’’You will not get that. You can kill me.” Then Ruth told Abhay to give his gun to him so that he can search from other side. Abhay looked at him and gave his gun to Ruth, his trusted man. Then Charu heard the gunfire and closed her eyes. When she opened her eyes saw Darana was shot dead and Abhay was seriously injured. Both of them are grounded with bloodshed body. Ruth said,’’ You do your job, you are now free with Yuvaan and Vincent. Now I will say mother that I repaid the obligations.’’ Then Yuvan came with Vincent. Ruth left and Charu had the winner’s smile.
