In the words of Victor Hugo, "The greatest happiness of life is the conviction that we are loved" and that hits your brain on the very next day, after a night of loving confessions.

Ever wondered how beautiful the next morning is when on the evening of yesterday, your longing to call someone 'yours' had ended. You either received a wonderful long paragraph telling how much he is in love with you, or you had the most romantic kiss at the dinner that started it all. The evening of the "newly found" stays special, but the morning after remains undescribed.

The alarm finally goes off, after 3 back to back snoozing, and today your lips open before your eyes, in a pretty little bright smile. As Rachel Karen Green would say "It looks like you slept with a hanger in your mouth." Today, the morning isn't dull or nonexciting. It is routine but happier. You open your window and inhale the fresh air, more like sucking the whole sky inside you. Brushing teeth and combing hair, wouldn't ever have been so entertaining and frolic. Your inner Sunidhi Chauhan will burst out while bathing and Kajol from DDLJ will help you get dry. Every time the phone rings, the hanger comes back and all the work is kept aside. Also, free pink glow!

So for the crux, the next day goes pretty wonderful and upbeat, knowing that you are loved by someone you love and all you want to do in that very moment, is to hold on to that feeling. The next day is often forgotten, so when things start going south, hold on to that 'next day'. Maybe, just maybe, the compass might turn around.
