THE LADY ON THE STREET

THE LADY ON THE STREET

I saw this lady seated on a long brown bench. She was very beautiful: she had long silky hair, a fair complexion, red lipstick was on her lips. She wore a long red backless dress and red flat shoes.

She gave me a short glimpse and continued reading a book titled “Her and It.” I fixed my hair, tucked in my shirt and brushed my black shoes.

My whole body could sense her energy from afar. Without my intention, I began to walk towards the beautiful lady. The time I realised that I was walking, I was already infront of her. I couldn't turn back. I had reached at a point of no return.

She noticed me standing infront of her blocking the warm sun. She closed the book and laid it aside. She looked into my eyes and was waiting for me to ignite a conversation.

“HI,” I began.

“Hello,” came the reply form her. Her voice was sweet like a melody played accordingly.

I continued, “I couldn't help but notice you seating here alone.”

“Oh!” she exclaimed. “Do you want to seat?” she asked politely.

“It would be of great joy to seat down with such a beautiful lady as you?” I responded as I sat down comfortably with smiles on my face.

We had a interesting conversation going until she stood up and said, “I have to go. I'm late.”

“Can't you stay a bit longer?” I asked impatiently.

“No, I can't,” she replied promptly.

I wanted to keep the conversation going. I decided that I should escort her so that I could have her name, bet yet, her number.

“Where do you stay?” I asked curiously.

A frown came onto her face, she replied, “I'm not from this world.”

I was confused greatly, I asked, “What do you mean?”

She replied, “I'm not like you. I'm from another world. I have to go. I can sense that you like me and I definitely like you. But our worlds are different from each. One thing is certain though, you can come with me to my world but I can't be in this world.”

Just then, there was a strong wind blowing from the east to west. The wind was so strong that I closed my eyes.

I could still her talking to me, “Do you want to come with me to my world?” she continued, “If yes, then give me your hand or you will never see me again.”

A question was running world in my mind, “What should I do?”
