Hey, I am Amanda. In this story I will be sharing the incident that happened with me and my friends, which entirely changed our perspective about spirits, ghosts and demons. So here it goes.

It was the day before Halloween. Cindy, Clara, Samuel, Celine, and I were sitting on the patio of my house deciding our outfits for Halloween. We all thought that Halloween has become somewhat boring because it's the same thing we do every year. We get into our costumes, throw Halloween parties, get drunk and that's it.

Celine suggested that why don't we celebrate Halloween with its real spooky vibe this time. She told us about the paranormal investigator's YouTube channel. She told us about a haunted place that those investigators went to. It was stella Marie's house aka "The lady in red." It is said that stella's house is haunted. Of course, why wouldn't it be. It has such a dark past.

The legend says, that stella was a 24-year-old woman, who lived with her parents. She fell in love with a guy named Cole. It was rumored that Cole's family was under a curse because they refused to offer the 'shining saint' a pound of gold. Back in the 1700's people believed in superstitions strongly and wholeheartedly.

There was a saint who was known as the "shining saint", he claimed that he had a direct connection with spirits and if anyone refuses to fulfill the "spirit's demand" indirectly his demands, would get cursed. He would ask people for things by saying that the "spirits are demanding it." Everybody in town believed him, except Cole and his family. They knew he was corrupt. They refused to offer him gold (which he asked for) and since the rumors started spreading; about Cole's family was cursed.

She was so in love with Cole, that she cared about nothing and decided to marry him. Stella wore a 'red ballgown' to her wedding. Her wedding went great. She was really happy. After her wedding, she went to her in-law's place to seek their blessings. Then she and Cole went to her house to seek her parents' blessings. Even though everyone was present during the wedding, they still had to do this as it was a ritual. When Cole and stella reached stella's parent's house, to their utter surprise they did not see stella's parents on the door. Stella thought they were probably a little upset. So, she told Cole to wait downstairs and went upstairs to her parent's room to talk to them and work things out. As soon as she entered the room, she screamed. Cole rushed to her and asked her if she was okay. She pointed towards the floor. On the floor were the bodies of her parents with knives stabbed in their chests. Stella fainted. Cole called the police, and they started the investigation. After a few hours, she regained consciousness. She told Cole about how she felt there was no way that the murderer of her parents would ever be found. And she was indeed right. To this day no one knows who did that. Stella started to feel that it was her fault. She married Cole even after everyone told her not to. She thought whatever was happening was because of Cole. She was so furious and out of her mind. That she got a gun and shot him in the head. And soon after that, she shot herself as well.

To this day, people believe that her spirit haunts the house because when she reached the gates of heaven, she was asked about the whereabouts of her husband that she killed. She was sent back to earth and told to find her husband and come back with him. So since then, any man that enters that house never comes back. She kills them because she thinks that it's Cole. She hates knives. If she spots any knife anywhere, she breaks it. And people often hear her crying.

I will tell you about our experience in the next part!
