The island of the lost
The island of the lost
It is intended for some things to be lost. Every one of us has lost something. It could be a sentimental item or a person who was dear to us. We forget a lot of things and people, but once we lose something or someone, it's impossible to get them back. It is impossible to regain a lost memory. We are taught that a person becomes famous after they pass away, but what happens to their memories? "The island of lost things" is where they go.
We are the seekers who look for the missing, and the keeper on this island has safely stored these misplaced items.
All of the forgotten faces reside in this library of frust faces, and the rustling breezes outside the library serve as a reminder to the forgotten of their conversations with their loved ones. Whistling winds blow through a desert of secrets, changing the contour of the sand dunes and exposing their secrets. The places where all of your former possessions are held are under attack.
In addition to all of this, there is a cemetery—not of the dead, but of dreams—that people buried within themselves in order to demonstrate their value in society when their dreams were dashed by its pressures.
All of this is secure within this island, enclosed by a wall of mist that prevents anyone from getting there.
What if you are stranded there, though?
Will you be able to confront all of your forgotten secrets, forgotten conversations, and lost memories?
Will you be able to depart or remain here with these loved ones and memories?
