The Hot Springs

I never believed in mythology. I've always felt that humans created stories according to the scenes they have seen on the Earth. But I felt this was wrong until I visited Manikaran temple in Himachal Pradesh. 

In such a cold place.... Natural hot springs are always present. A wonder to be known and watched! So, the mythology behind this magic is that... While Lord Shiva and Parvati devi was walking in that valley... It seems that Parvati Devi's jhumki was slipped into the water. As she asked Shiva for her earing, he opened his third eye and did the thandava... After which... Snake god... Sheshang appeared and hissed. When he did so... Hot springs appeared which were filled with jewels similar to Parvati Devi's earing. 

Those springs are present till date depicting that effort of Lord Shiva towards his beloved wife... Beauty to be admired!!!!
