With the transition in festive celebrations, the people at Delhi were vibrant in welcoming the Halloween night. The roads were filled with people dressed up in weird props and pumpkins of different shapes and sizes adorned the streets. Raghu, Vedant, Erwin, Solomon were ready with their plans to celebrate the Halloween party in their own way. Solomon took the driver's seat and others sat back for their fabulous night to begin. They drove to Erwin's house. Raghu was a charming young lad in his early twenties who believed in just humanity. He was a Hindu Kayastha but he refused to follow any religion or caste. His family was a descendant of great writers but he was an exception. His life revolved around his pet, golden retriever Gypsy. That affection ended in a bad way as the dog died few days back and he finds it hard to get back. He worked as a salesman in a reputed firm in the city. He was a part of the street play club, where he spent his weekends enacting dramas for school children. Vedant had finished his undergraduate course in electronics engineering and is now preparing to try for the UPSC.

The engineering life had made his life miserable and hopeless. With low grades in engineering course he found it hard to end up in his dream job. He wanted to follow his ancestral lineage by serving as a bureaucrat. Solomon was a Business development associate with one of the leading tutoring firms. He is a musician and has exceptional skills in marketing. His is aim is to begin a starup in the customer support sector. Admiring the artwork that the bruises had made on his arm, Erwin felt the pain, a line of sweat appeared on his forehead. He could feel those death hands of his father gripping him harder and harder. The punches he got and his brother's words" So who cares about you, you better go and kill yourself" stained his heart. He took the razor and made the cuts. . one. . two. . and so on upto fifteen. With a sigh, he came back to the present. The razor shivered in his hands and it dropped down. He came out of the bathroom in fear. He heard the door bell go wild and he knew it was them. Buttoning his shirt, he came down in a hurry to open the door. Vedant was there and he spoke in a hurry asking him to come soon. Erwin locked the door and with a wink to the girl next door he made his way to the car. After a short quarrel Erwin took the driver's seat. The car whizzed past as he pressed the pedals hard. They drove past the highway with the music loud inside the car.

The rains were unpredictable that monsoon and it began to rain heavily. They were from different backgrounds and different parts of the country. It was at the Almas Mansion room no. 405 they met one fine day two years back. Solomon was from Alappuzha and he got transferred to Delhi. Vedant was from Lucknow and he had come to Delhi to prepare for UPSC exams. Raghu was from Tamil Nadu and he took a voluntary transfer to Delhi as he loved the place since his childhood when he stayed at Delhi for few years. Erwin had escaped from the clutches of his dad to Delhi with the help of his aunt. He was a victim to the injustice of discrimination.

Over the two years they had developed a good relationship. This night they had planned to spend in a star pub to enjoy and party hard. The drive was longer than they expected it to be. The pub was filled with glamour and clamour and they served themselves with all kinds of drinks available. They staggered to the car and Solomon started the engine of the car and accelerated it in an unsteady manner. They began their drive back on the highway. At a distant they saw a lantern glowing and they realised it was a roadside tea stall. They decided to take a break by the stall. As they approached nearer they found the tea stall to be empty. Four of them slowly got down from the car. Erwin sensed something is wrong as he felt something running behind him. Paranormal activities were always intriguing, few were afraid of it, others tried to research on the possibilities but he was one among them who denied it outright. Vedant heard some strange noises from the woods on the sides of the road. He urged everybody to get inside the car.

Vedant took over the driving. They seemed to be driving yet they returned back to the same spot. They felt they were stuck up in a time capsule. Vedant noticed an old man walking towards their car in his rear view mirror. He lowered the window and asked the old man where they were. The old man asked them to follow him to understand things better. They walked behind him in fear and agony. Their car had crashed on a transformer and was in fumes. They saw the rescue force taking out their bodies in charred condition. The old man disappeared and they could see their hands and legs disappear. Gypsy was somewhere at a distance. The blonde next door winked back at Erwin.
