The Colours Of September
The Colours Of September
Every day, Leo walked the same road: from home to school, from school to home. His friends often complained that life was boring, just homework and routine. Even his parents noticed how quietly he slipped through the days.
But Leo never felt bored. He didn’t quite know why. He just knew that when he looked up at the September sky, something stirred inside him. The clouds weren’t only clouds—they were brushstrokes of pink and orange, dark rose and violet, like someone was painting emotions he couldn’t yet name.
He didn’t talk about it. He didn’t even realize it was unusual. For him, the shifting sky was like a secret language. When the sunset turned the world golden, he felt brave. When it burned pink, he felt a kind of longing. When it deepened to dark rose, his chest filled with energy, as though something amazing was waiting just around the corner.
To everyone else, Leo looked quiet, maybe even dull. But the truth was different: September gave him a thousand colours to carry inside.
Moral: Even the most ordinary days can glow with extraordinary colours, if you learn to notice them.
