Suspense Resolved
Laurya, a twenty-something girl with curly hair and born into a wealthy family, had just left her closest friend Norah's birthday celebration. Do not inquire what kind of gift she gave her; it was an opulent Gucci hang bag that would make your hair stand on end. Laurya had always desired to give her best friend a unique present on her twenty-second birthday. Not because you can't stop listening to Taylor Swift's song or because you first heard it while dining with your parents or shopping at the mall, but twenty-two is a special number. Whatever it was, Laurya had bought the bag—which cost an astounding $1,000—in secret, evading her parents' concerns. Her parents will know when hell breaks loose. Laurya made the decision to start studying seriously after realizing this. Although the celebration was amazing and a night to remember, Laurya's next worry was getting home safely. She was inebriated and found it difficult to keep her footing as she staggered. She got into her car and drove fast in the direction of her house.
Laurya was unsure of how to approach her parents. No one would notice if she opened the door and entered the room in complete stillness, even if her parents would be asleep. Laurya mentally mapped out every step and prayed that everything would go according to plan. There was no traffic on the route, so she quickly arrived home. In the middle of the night, the city's quiet felt nostalgic. After the driver left her, Laurya went to open the door. Unfortunately, the door did not open at all when she tried to unlock it with her keys. Laurya started to feel scared and upset. She considered calling her parents, which would require waking them up. The temperature dropped sharply and became frigid. Her mother's phone call was the last remaining choice. After calling her mother, who did not answer, she called her father, who did not answer either. Laurya grew quite anxious and nervous. She was more comfortable sleeping through the night than waking up to watch scary films. She found the dark to be repulsive rather than frightening. Laurya couldn't decide what to do next. To where? She considered naming her maid Kanta even though the drivers and staff had all left. Even though Kanta was tired, she made an effort to answer the phone. Kanta retorted that when Laurya went in the evening after finishing the task, her parents were in the house itself.
Laurya was increasingly agitated and irritated. She called her buddy Norah and explained the circumstances. Insisting that she should stay the night at her apartment and not bother her parents, so they can check on things in the morning, Norah hurried to the location to pick her up. Laurya slept soundly in Norah's house. It was dawn when they arrived at Laurya's house. Her parents were up and preparing for their morning stroll. Laurya hurried to give them hugs after losing control of her tears. She was surprised to find that, after viewing their daughter, they were neither alarmed nor shocked. Laurya had the impression that their daughter had been abandoned. After giving Laurya back her gift of a Gucci bag, Norah told her that our parents were our first instructors and friends. We fail at practically everything in life if we don't know how to respect others, care for them, manage our finances, and take on a lot of responsibility.
So, make friends with your parents first like my friend. What if something had gone wrong with you that evening? Being born into an affluent family does not grant you the freedom to spend money carelessly. The best birthday present I could ever receive would be to give up old habits and start new ones. Laurya's mother went to the kitchen to get some morning tea, and Laurya's father told her that she had a buddy who was one in a million. It happens that friends become parents and parents become friends. Laurya questioned her dad, "Last night, why didn't you open the door? I was so nervous. Laurya's dad only laughed.
