Sunil Gupta- Biography

How to start how to start how to start. I am trying to write this biography for the previous few months and finally got prosperous. 

We all have one or another superhero, role model or an ideal person in our life and mine is Sunil Gupta. I know many of you haven't heard of this name. I am talking about many I bet none of you hasn't listened about him. To be specific he is not an actor, not a hero or not a dancer. He is just a common man. 

A common man like all of us who never expected anything from life instead of some love and respect from his family. Sunil, born in a low middle-class family. His father was a simple shopkeeper in Chandigarh who owned a shop and his mother was a homemaker. He had 5 brothers (including him out of which 3 are older and 1 younger also where I will say about misdeeds of the brother they only include of first two not all) and 1 sister. I know quite a big family but for him a happy world like every other child.

His father somehow managed to put all his children in school despite his low economic background. But after some years, he got an eye operation because of which one of his sons had to sit in the shop. Sunil was in 7th at that time but despite being younger he decides to take responsibility. He used to sit with his father at the shop from childhood so he had somewhat interest in that. He had learned many things at that time so he managed to handle the shop very well. 

In 8th standard he decided to quit school and sit at the shop to be surprised there was only a little neglect from his father's side but everyone else agreed. Because of this he didn't get well literate and don't have a tight grip on English. But we all know that life teaches us everything and that is what happens.

Years passed, and the shop which was only a normal store like others started running from his name. Customers came and asked about him only. He came to know as 'bhaiya'. Now he had 8 workers working below him. By investment, he had owned a new shop.

All teachers who taught him came to shop one by one and felt proud. When the teacher came to all workers got shocked you know why- the person who was running the whole shop and had owned a new shop climbed the desk and directly touches his teacher's feet every time. This was the biggest wealth he had owned. 

Yet is the life that simple certainly not. In these years his brothers have got that much literate that they can suppress him and also have got wives like them ( clever and smart). They started manipulating him and having properties on their name. They thought everything will work like this but their bad luck. 

They had the belief that everything will continue like this but have you listened to a phrase in Hindi 'जाको राखे साइयां मार सके ना कोय' means the person who has God with him never get defeated like this. So there came a twist. Sunil gets married to a girl who has every characteristic in her. She was intelligent, literate, understanding and many more. During some months of marriage, she understands every strategy going on there. 

She tried many times to make him realize these plans but he was so-called family blind, who don't see anything except his brothers. Ten years passed he had now two daughters one of 10 years and one of 7  and also a son who was going to be of 1 year but not a sense of awareness about his brother's deeds.

Then there happens any unfortunate accident their one and only sister passes away. Due to which family get a major setback. At that time circumstances turned in a way that somewhere he started going away from his brother. Again years passed and his shop become more famous and they get economically strong because of which they opened 2 more shops. At that time his wife's patience runs out because of his oppression on family property. We all know the problems of a joint family. But at that time he didn't pay much attention and ignored everything and did whatever his brother told him. 

Years passed and came to 2021. He became 46. The year was going well but in the lost month again a tragedy takes place i.e. their father's death which brings him a sense of awareness. Many times he feels his brother only wants money from him nothing more. So he stands up for his right. But there was a break of heart that no one noticed. He was speaking for his right but was breaking apart. For the last 5 years, he was telling his children not to become like him. He is somewhat shameful of him. When he says this no one says anything because what can a child says to his father. 

Many obstacles came in between, and many fights happened but he overcome everything and tried to rectify his mistake of not listening to his wife. He now has a bungalow which is of his blood and sweat but now also he only says his children not to become like him. 

But today I wanna say that I am proud of him not for what he has but for his 40 years of service, love, and gratitude and also because he understands and tried to rectify his mistake. And ya you all are thinking right he is my father like every other girl he is my superhero. I am the younger daughter of that Sunil Gupta who achieved so much at such young age and had not showoff anyone.

He is my father, my superhero and I am proud of him.
