Street 16 : (2)A Night walk

    It's been almost 2 years.

 Winter song 2015 only a few days left for Christmas and who knows what gift is going to be received in Christmas.

All the houses on a street 16 are decorated for Christmas by now. 

I used to go through that street to see all the house that was decorated and there could see a close window which I have been waiting for two years to open.

Like everyday that evening too ....I was passing through a street 16 and maybe in Christmas present waits for me on that street. when I was some distance away from apartment 9D.

I just heard a sound in my ears it was a man's voice I found the word being spoken more attractive than the voice which was the word is "nafia"

My heart stop for a while after hearing that name "was what I hear is true?"

Without any delay, my eyes went to that window.

In an instant I was checked that window 1000 time.

Yes that window was open!!!Or the very next moment I saw 9/D near the gate! She was in front!

Yes ! She was nafia... After 2years!!!!In 2 years she had become even more lovely and beautiful. 

His hair was a bit dark and long, like a net, they were trapping me!

But her eyes were no longer blue, her eyes had turned brown.  There was an infinite depth in which I was drowning. Her tiny nose was still tiny.

 His little round face was a sight to behold and adorable.

I wanted to talk to her but I was nervous what to talk about.But now I probably shouldn't have been longer.

I dared to go ahead and say "hi" to her 

She turned to me and said 'hello, thank you for that night!"

Do she still remember that night?

I asked her " what night?"

She replied that "yes I would have forgotten that night but it was difficult to forget that you had fixed my cycle in that heavy rain."

I said "good " 

 she said "what's your name"

N I said "you can call me Avi

afia! "

Then she said that " now we are friends, "

I had no words, should I tell her that I love her!

We started talking for a few days.

 It was only 4 days. The whole Street 16 was called for a Christmas party!

It was during these days that I was getting to know Nafia more closely. 

She was very eager to come to the party. I had thought that now I will propose Nafia after Christmas party and this could have been my biggest mistake.

It was Christmas Eve! All the preparation of the party was done. People started coming too..... I was the one waiting for Nafia with some questions. 

 Have you ever seen the angles of heaven? 

That night I saw an angel, the nafia shining brighter than even the best houses adorned in Rainagar.

 She wore a blue long grown and a white sweater. 

She came to me and I praised her.We both went inside where the party was taking place. । It was some 8 o'clock. The party had started.  Some people were dancing and some were talking.  there was a big beautiful Christmas tree. She was very happy to come to the party. Her smile garnered the admiration of everyone present at the party!

 time it was 10:30

She came to me and she said " can we go out for a while and go home as my parents are just leaving!"

It was a good opportunity for me I said "yes."After half an hour, both of us were now expelled from the party. 

His house was also 30 minutes away. The roads of Rainagar were covered with mist. 

Entire streets were seen to be decorated! In this cold, she and I were going on an empty road! 

I asked "How did the color of your eyes change?" 

She smiled and said, "It's just my lens." 

I said "Why did you guys leave Street 16"

She said "Still we have come back from some work, I will leave in a week, my admission has been done in RICE"

I asked "RICE ,"

She said " Rohkee International College Of Engineering"

Hearing this brought tears to my eyes! Was she going back?

Now we were in front of a park! Now I thought it might be late. And I said "I have something to tell you"

She said "No Avi, I know that you love me, but if you have said this, I may never be able to leave from here."

I was looking at him in amazement after these words of his.

She continued, "We can always be good friends."

I didn't have an answer! We sat on a chair in the park! He held my hand. His hand was a bit warmth. 

I was feeling a little better. After sitting for a while, both of us were leaving from there. I knew the answer was yes but not completely. 

After walking for some more time we were at the turn of Street 16. We both had different turns in the exact opposite direction. 

She hugged me! All my cool was missing. And we both had tears in our eyes now! We both wanted that both of us should not go anywhere now.

She left me and ran towards her house for some time, she was blind from my eyes.

And that's probably the last time I saw her.I finally found a friend this Christmas who is now in some other corner of the world! It's hard to forget her eyes and even on that rainy night. 

And this night walk has given a new twist to my life. After this I will always love her!

 But I've never been to Street 16 anymore or heard the name "Nafia"
