“You boys don’t have feelings.” She walked out of the café, leaving me alone stirring my latte and wondering over the irony of this world.

I still remember when I was a child like any other boy child was told not to cry, have an interest in art or feel sympathy because it is too feminine. But today it is the fault of the men to be stone-hearted.

I don’t know who designated these traits according to gender but who did must have been either the dumbest or the cruelest person.

While I was blaming the society for the misconception between me and her, an old lady with muscles came and asked me if she could sit on the table as no other table was vacant. The waiter came and enquired if was going to pay for the girl who left. I accepted.

“I think you must cry your heart out now or else you can think about society and your heart can cry inside lifelong.” the lady said to me.

Before she could say anything, I broke in her arms.

I know society is cruel but sometimes even strangers can give the comfort which the loved can’t.
