"Bye maa! I'll be back before 10"

"Bye, dear! Take care, drive safely"

Jane is a 19-year-old bold and confident girl. She was raised by a single parent. Her parents parted their ways when she was only 3 years old. Jane works as an assistant editor in a reputed company.

It was 19th October 2019 6:30 pm when Jane left her house for the office party. She was really excited as it was her first official party. It was around 7 pm when Jane's mother got a call from the hospital. Jane met with a really bad car accident. Her mother rushed to the hospital and on her way she found Jane's car crushed and pulverized, she lost her senses and just prayed. She kept chanting some phrases and tried to remain calm. She reached the hospital and inquired about Jane.

Jane was inside the operation theatre. Her mother knelt down in front of the operation theatre and kept praying for her daughter. After 6 hours of surgery, Jane was out of the OT and she regained consciousness. Her mother couldn't hold herself anymore and she burst into tears. Jane was lying on the bed in pain but she still smiled. Jane had major injuries on her face. The mother-daughter duo became each other's strength in this hard time. Jane was discharged after one week.

This accident did not leave an impact only on her mind but also left Scars on her face. She tried her best to hide the scars but at the end of the day she wasn't able to get rid of them, she could only hide or conceal them.

One morning, while having breakfast she had tears in her eyes n her face was red. Her mother asked her " what's the matter, Jane?"

she replied, " I want to get rid of these scars, they make me look ugly".

To this, her mom quoted "Even the moon is filled with scars but still it shines, these scars don't make you look ugly, they depict how beautifully you survived such a bad accident".

In a fraction of seconds, Jane had a smile on her face and her eyes glistened. Jane went back to her room, stood in front of the mirror and looked at her scars. It was the first time when Jane stepped out of her house without concealing her scars. She turned many heads as people were dumbstruck to see her like that. She carried her scars with confidence, she wore them better than any makeup. She started accepting them to be hers and felt comfortable about them.

Soon, Jane was admired and adored for her confidence and positive attitude towards her life. After 6 months, Jane was asked out by a reputed fashion designer to walk for her new collection. Jane was on cloud nine.

This was another turning point in her life. Jane made it to the headlines and billboards. She was considered to be the beauty of scars. Her mother supported her throughout her journey. They always had each other's back.

Jane soon became a popular face. She was invited to an event to speak about her journey to motivate others. She ended her speech with these words "If my mother hadn't told me to unhide my scars then I wouldn't have been standing here. I would have been crawling in my skin and trying to hide my scars. Today my scars are my identity. Don't hide your scars because even after having infinite scars the moon shines", the crowd cheered and applauded. She found the real Jane in herself.

Accept your scars the way you accept your online orders because you've been given them for a reason. Flaunt them and just remember 'Each scar adds to your beauty.'
