Siriophobia

There was once a place called Aranyapur in India. It was said to be the creepiest place of the world. There were many mythological events on which people of Aranyapur and nearby places believed on. Jimmy was a woman who lived there but never believed on those stories. Some told her that at the midnight the place was full of ghosts whereas others told that once there was a bride who committed suicide and now her soul, exactly at 3 a.m looks for people to kill and eat their flesh. But she never believed. Jimmy had 2 children Jane and Elen. Her husband was a ghost hunter. He had visited all the places of India but never found any clue about ghosts or souls. So nobody in their family believed in ghosts though they all loved to watch horror films at late night. The next night when they all were sleeping, Jimmy suddenly started walking. Her husband John thought that she have had habit of walking in sleep. When the next day her husband John told her about it she started laughing and said, “Oh really! I never knew” John wasn’t expecting that reply. But he didn’t bother about it. During that time Jane was doing a research on ghosts but no one knew about it. He used to get up at 1a.m in the morning and used to research about ghosts though he never believed on them but still as a 15 year old child he was eager to know about ghosts. The family had Siri (AI Technology) at their home. So Jane used to take Siri with him to the room and asked her many questions related to ghosts. She everyday used to give normal answers but what happened on 7th June was something really strange. Jane wasn’t able to understand about Etekcity Lasergrip infrared thermometer. So he asked Siri, “Hey Siri, what is Etekcity Lasergrip infrared thermometer?” Siri replied, “An infrared thermometer, commonly used by electricians and HVAC technicians, can take temperature of a specific object with laser, they are handy for detecting cold spots in potentially haunted areas, which ghost investigators say can otherwise be signs of invisible entities.” But Jane didn’t understand anything so murmured to himself, “What the hell is this!”

Probably Siri had heard that, she replied, “Hell is an afterlife location in which evil souls are subjected to punitive suffering, often torture as eternal punishment after death.” This reply made him sweat. He was in shock. He gathered courage and continued his research. He asked Siri, “Siri, can we rely on ghost hunting tools?”

Siri replied in a bold and scary voice, “ Haha! You don’t believe? Try them on me right now and....” Jane was terrified and so told Siri to shut up. Siri replied, “It’s bad, you shouldn’t have said that.” And the lights went off. But this didn’t bother Jane because he knew that Siri couldn’t control lights. Siri further said, “Wait for them.” Jane was in fear so he asked Siri in a stammering voice, “Wait for whom Siri?” But Siri remained quite. In the next minute he heard he sounds of footsteps coming towards the room. As soon as the door opened he got a heart attack due to the fear but he didn’t know that it was his mother. His mother quickly switched on the lights and seeing Jane dead she cried aloud, hearing the sound of Jimmy John and Elen too came running upstairs. They all were shocked seeing Jane dead. Tears rolled out of their eyes. Within 2 days the funeral pyre of Jane was done. For about the next 2 years his sister and parents were extremely sad for him. Ms Jimmy used to cry everyday thinking the same thing. Gradually the conditions were improving. After 4 years of Jane’s Death they decided to have a child, they named him Daniel. Their life was going on a happy path. Daniel was now 4years and had started speaking and walking. One day he took his parents to the same place where Jane’s funeral pyre was done. John and Jimmy were shocked. They were wondering that how did he come to know about Jane at such a young age. John asked Daniel, “Dear, what happened? Let’s go home.” Daniel replied, “Mom, Dad that’s me.”, Pointing towards the same place where Jane’s funeral pyre had taken place. Though there was no body or his name written anywhere but still Daniel was at the exact place. Jimmy and John looked towards each other in extreme shock. 

Was it a reality? Were Daniel and Jane same?
