Silence !!

Dear Mommy, 

Every now and then they tell me I am silent. My insides screeching muster a painful laugh within. I wish they could hear the thoughts my head roar all day long. But these thoughts are mine and I wouldn't burden them, for its heavy and lonely. He tells me I am aloof and astray these days. The silence in me might vanquish him someday. Mommy, how do I tell him you bestow silence to the ones you love the most. For words can be anticipated but silence needs to be understood.

You never told me silence is pristine and words flawed.

I hear the words flow out of their mouth like a river reaching its never ending destination. I pick up those words and try to put them within to fill the void but silence is a pitcher full that does not need fillers. I lay in my silence and watch the world go by. I will speak someday when the silence is not worth and words are all I got.
