Geetika was very happy that she had ticked off one of the major to do on her bucket list, her dream of owning her own house in Mumbai. She had purchased a 2bhk flat in the suburbs of Mumbai.

Her parents who stayed in Bilaspur were very happy about the hard work their daughter put in to purchase a house in her dream city.

Just after college, she had got a campus placement in one of the reputed companies which made her move to Mumbai while her parents stayed back in bilaspur.

Her mother had told her to do the puja and then shift to her house but due to lack of time, she was unable to get it done and moved into her new house.

The first night in her new house: Geetika returned from office and was having a shower when she heard the doorbell ring. Quickly she put on her bathrobe and hurried towards the door. She checked through the eye hole and could see the watchman standing there.

She opened the door a little and the watchman smiled and handed her the electricity bill.

"Madam, I am Raghu. No one else stays on this floor. If you need anything, just call up 99 from the intercom, I shall be there.

Geetika thanked him and closed the door.

Suddenly she felt a strange feeling as if someone was watching her. She pushed aside those thoughts and went to change her clothes.

While she was standing in front of the mirror, she felt she saw an image and as soon as she turned back the image was lost.

"I think I have had a hectic day" she mumbled to herself and proceeded to fix her supper.

Just then she felt someone pull her legs from under the bed and she fell down.

She was shit scared and started shouting "help help"

She was sweating profusely and stood up and ran towards the intercom

"Bhaiya am calling from 1301" she told

"Yes madam, hi" he answered

"Yahan koi hai, bhaiya. Aap jaldi aaiye" she requested

"Acha wo log as gaye kya" he laughed

Geetika was dumbstruck. She didn't know whim to call for help.

She called up her parents and her mother suggested her to recite the hanuman chalisa and do the hawan at her place the very next day.

She just huddled herself on the sofa and sat reciting the hanuman chalisa waiting for it to be morning.

As soon as it dawned, she quickly went to the nearby temple and made arrangements for the hawan.

That one night was too scary for her and after the hawan she didn't feel anything ever again.
