Awards Night

Memories linger in our hearts forever and remind us of the good times or bad times we might have had.

One such good memory with my family would be Awards night in school in January 1999. We were in class 10 and was due to appear for my ICSE exams in March. The school had organized the Awards night where all the deserving ones were to be awarded.

When my name was announced in the category of leadership Awards, I was elated beyond words and to see the pride on my parents face, specially my father's was a very satisfying feeling and now when 20 years later, I visited my school and saw my name listed in the awardees, it was a proud moment. More so because I happily showed it off to my kids and they were just in awe of their mother and those sweet memories of that night just resurfaced.
