Twists and Turns

"Just forget about it, it was nothing". At least that's what Katie told her mother. It was June 1st when she told her mother about what she saw.

"I will be your narrator Mr. Time, as you will see in my tale that not everything is as it seems. "

Katie was in the 7th grade and had all A's, she was a very good student and she had only one friend. Katie had never been outgoing, she had always been the quiet one. But that was only her act, Katie was in Fact very outgoing. Now you might just start to wonder, "I guess there's more to this Katie character than I thought. "You are quite right, because Katie isn't just a 7th grader with trust issues. What happened on June 1st changed quiet and self-conscious Katie into a confident, strong, smarter, and can take care of her self. To top it all off she takes orders from people all around the world, and know one knows what changed Katie except that she goes on trips and says that she has modeling jobs. But each time she comes back home she has cuts and bruises, and on one occasion a small tattoo.

           Chapter 1

         Golden bullets 

Katie was walking home from school, Katie lived in the city and lived in a 2 bedroom apartment with her mother and best friend. Now you must be wandering "how could her best friend live with her". Ava is Katie's best friends name, they do everything together and spend the night at each other's houses, they don't even have to ask there parents to stay over. So great for them just two normal 14 year olds, How ever that didn't last for too long. It was in Fact June 1st when Ava's parents had been murdered. The two parents had been home siping there coffee and talking, they both knew that Ava went home every day with Katie. She stayed at Katie's house after school and came home late or just spent the night. It was a very good thing that Ava went home with Katie that day or else she would have been. . . . .

. Katie told Ava to go run to Katie's house and tell her mother that she was going to pick up some eggs from the apartment across from Ava's parents. So Ava ran to Katie's house and told her mom and just decided to stay at Katie's house. As Katie was about to knock on the door she saw that Ava'a apartment door was slightly open. Katie knew that Mrs. Talor had a strict rule about keeping the door locked at all times. The table was knocked over and coffee stains were setting in the carpet. Katie walked over to the door, then very quietly walked over to the table. Katie sat down next to the table and in a instant shut her eyes and put her hands on her mouth. "No-no-no-no-no-no, she whispered to herself, "There dead".

What Katie saw was indeed very disturbing, when Katie nelt down to get a better look at the table there was splattered blood and at the center was a golden bullet. Katie lowered her hand and saw more blood but this time it was in a jagged trail going across the room leading into the kitchen. Katie got up and walked slowly and quietly to the kitchen. "Well, well, well it's Katie isn't it". Katie didn't move she couldn't even speak. There in the corner laying next to the table was the dead bodies of Ava's parents. Siting at the table was a tall man with jet black hair and very strong. He was calm, he had something about him that was commanding and had power over anyone he is with. You might start to think that he is a guy in his 20's but in fact he was 15 only one year older than Katie.

"I've been expecting you Katie, please take a seat". He said as he laid the gun on the table. Katie stood frozen not knowing what she should do.
