13 years later,

The king's castle, Kingdom of Duolis, Human Empire

It was a decent morning, the birds were chirping producing an unbelievable melodic sound that won anyone's heart as soon as it reached their ears, the hustle and bustle of the kingdom market were also somewhat relaxing as always it was, many voices in glee were heard from the king's garden — three children played to their heart's content — among the three was Vis (after being born there, John's father .i.e. the king of Duolis and his mother, the queen named him Vis) and two other children — Dux, the son of the Duke of Probitatis and Char ( short name for Charlotte), the daughter of the Duke of Richmond and the fiancee of Vis.

In 13 years the world had been changed, completely, so much that new kingdoms were rising, the Demon Empire was been decreased ( leaving only 3℅ of their territory) all this was happening due to a certain change —instead of using Infosys, people used a newly discovered energy, known as mana energy resulting in the foundation of magic. This was quite spectacular as well as and at the same time intriguing!

Two men entered the garden, where the three joyful figures played restlessly. Upon, seeing the figures, the three children bowed and welcomed them — one of them was the king, and the other was a renowned mana user, Ubi Reskcoud.

Char was holding Vis by arm to arm and smiling at him, as soon she saw Ubi, she became bright-eyed and bushy-tailed and asked Ubi exuberantly, " Uncle Ubi? I'm glad that you dropped up here! It has been a month of Sundays since I saw you last. Are you here to check our power (mana) level for ' The Teenage Magic Competition ' ? am I right? "

" Ya, you saw right through me, HAHAHA! " He laughed sadistically pretending and enclosing the fact that was his surprise was ruined.

The Teenage Magic Competition was a very salient Magic Competition, where more than a fifty selected students, participated from all around the Human Empire go against each others to learn Alchemy, the highest level of magic known on the Empire, they were held every 10 years and so everyone was basically pumped up .

Ubi took out a clean polished shining purple-colored orb from the air, flabbergasting the others. He, afterward asked one by one, the still shocked children to come forward — the first was Dux, he came forward with a wide grin as he was on cloud nine and thrilled with the event, that was about to be taken place.

Ubi placed the orb in his hand and mentioned to Dux, " Dux, place your hand on the orb, quickly please."

" As, ordered sir!! "

Dux became more excited, so as a consequence, he unreluctantly agreed and placed his hand on the purple dazzling orb — rays of purple light soon glinted up the orb and then as the light, lowered , a hologram soon after popped up at the above mid-air — it displayed Dux's name, strength, agility, intelligence, mana energy, mana type and skills he had.

There were different mana types — Elemental Magic - which drew mana from either of one of the four or five elements (water, fire, earth, air, and sometimes spirit) , fire being the rarest. The next was Superpower Magic that increased the muscle power and strength of a mana user, the next was Spellwork Magic, which entirely depended on spells for using Magic, last but not the least, instead of the rarest and powerful, Chaos Magic.

Dux and the others were glancing at the hologram with overwrought eyes. Ubi took a glance too, and remarked,

" Dux, congratulations! You're selected, your affinity is a fire which is extremely rare, good work, anyway, now you must prepare yourself for the preliminary competition. Break a leg."

" Thank you, sir! I will try my best! "

The preliminary Competition was a sub-competition, to select the top three teenage mana users in a kingdom, to be more specific, it was a part of 'The Teenage Magic Competition', the top 3 in the preliminary competition could only participate in ' The Teenage Magic Competition '. 

Dux steeped backwards, and Char advanced towards the orb. She put her hand on the orb and in a moment of time, a glowing light soon came out of the orb. When the light, became dim, a hologram again popped up at mid-air air.

Ubi nodded his head and told Char,

" Congratulations! You are selected for the preliminary competition! Good luck!"

" Thank you, uncle Ubi! "

Char happily looked at Vis and smiled, Vis also did the same and advanced towards orb.

Vis had all the memories of his past lives, so he secretly trained himself in the deep dark at night, in this life, he got many things, one of them meeting Dux, one of his dearest friend and Char who fell in love with him and therefore, resulting in Char's position as the fiancee of Vis .

Vis was confident , and at the same time, was in a blue funk , he came closer to orb , putting his on it — a flicker shaft soon radiated out from the orb, gales of winds started forming around Vis, the winds became more faster than usual, by the time, the event had stopped, a hologram soon popped up at in the mid - air, as the children , Ubi and the king glared at the hologram, their eyes were bugged out.

[Hell's fire ( Level 100 ) - user can burn anything with Hell's fire, will burn the object until it completely turns into dust.

Time limit - 1 minute ]

[Extra skill: increases the status of the user by 5% to 29% according to the user's emotions.

Note : only applicable when the user is using Hell's fire . ]

Chapter 5

First Match / The Preliminary Competition begins!

Everyone was dumbstruck, they hadn't witnessed a 13 years old boy become a user of chaos magic. The children, and the two men gave him a once-over, furthermore shifting their gaze from the hologram to Vis, as if he was an uncanny animal ; Ubi rubbed his eyes, to see if it was veridical or not, after corroborating it, he bellowed out loud of rage , " WHAT THE HECK? HOW IS IT POSSIBLE ? HOW DOES A CHILD LIKE YOU HAVE THAT ABILITY ! Huh , Oh! Sorry I got a little carried away, anyway congratulations! I will take my leave now, the competition will begin at 9 am tomorrow at the Royal Arena! Bye! " He quickly got out of the garden, with egg on his face, being chagrined and appalled. After his leave, Char came closer to Vis and imprecated her curses for Ubi, later cooling down.

"Son, I've something to talk about with you, please come to my room......it's urgent. " The king enunciated and got out of the garden, bumfuzzling the children .

After a couple of minutes, Vis set

his foot on the King's room, cudgelling his brains about why he had called been him . The king congratulated and panegyrized him as soon as he set foot on the room and told him to take a seat.

The day after,

9:00 am

The Royal Arena, Kingdom of Duolis, Human Empire

There were roughly a hundred thousand spectators watching the empty arena — of course, the number of spectators was a guesstimate, but still, the number of spectators was somewhat scarcely credible. A pandemonium was happening among the spectators, as it was already time for the preliminary Competition. All of the uproars were suddenly quietened, as a large figure, with a white beard and red brows entered the stage, emitting a beastly aura around himself; until he took the mike and choked prior to talking the Mike close to his mouth.

The man droped a bombshell, " With attention please, dear, all, present here, I am extremely sad for the late timing and inconvenience caused, I am Drake Millit, a A - class mana user, I will be the commentator for the matches, this compitition will last only for today, only the top three will be permitted to compete in 'The Teenage Magic Competition' ,hope you enjoy the program to your final extent! Let me then, introduce the rules :

Rule 1 : The teenagers will not kill each other.

Rule 2 : The full use of power will be permitted .

Rule 3: The opponent can surrender themselves to the opposition. Also if the person is unable to fight more, or is passed out, then the opponent will be regarded as defeated.

Rule 4 ( the last one): No illegal weapons will be allowed, no help from the outside will be permitted, and if it is done, it will result in the teenager being automatically eliminated !"

"That's all, the first bout will be betweenness! "

" Linger Red, the son of the duke of Red and Vis Duolis, the son of our king, Alberta Duolis "

" Cheers to them! Please step in, Linger and Vis "

The spectators soon became animals, who were looking like lions in their respective cages; two doors opened at two corners of the arena and two teenagers stepped in.

At one side was Linger and at right at the opposite side, was Vis, they came nigher to each other until there was at least 5 meters distance between them.

Drake shouted with joy, though with a cold-blooded look on his face, "1........2.........3........4........annnnnnddd......begin! "

The first one to make the move was Linger, he came at an unco speed, as he had lightning attribute but not as fast as light, of course, and landed a punch at Vis, or so he and the spectators thought — the fist landed on air ; in fact, Vis was not there, he already dodged it, and was just beside his side, Linger again tried to land a punch but that time, Vis didn't dodge, in lieu ,before Linger could prepare himself to land the punch, Vis grasped Linger's head , as well as lifting Linger's whole body in the mid-air in the procedure. He threw Linger's body in the up-air, forming a crater on the ground, and a gale around Linger's body which was still in the up-air. Linger, fell very barbarously on the ground, his half of the bones were broken, and he was enduring and undergoing a lot of pain throughout his body which resulted in Linger's pass out and Vis's unpreventable and bound to happen triumph.

The spectators were not expecting the match to end so quickly, they were more amazed by the fact that Vis was so sturdy, Drake was also having the same reaction as the others, he was astonished; he was not believing his eyes, he was paused for a couple of minutes after he got a hold of him, he blazoned abroad, " Vis Duolis is the winner! "

Chapter 6: The God system

After, 7 hours

The Royal Arena, Kingdom of Duolis, Human Empire

A long time had passed since the opening of the preliminary competition, ultimately, one hundred fifty-nine teenagers came to give the exam but nevertheless, 4 among them were only selected.

" Now then let's start the finals! " Drake announced to all, displaying and broadcasting a hologram in front of the spectators and participants.

" They are the ones, who will participate in the finals, a big round of applauds for them. Now then, the first match will be between..............guess it, it is Vis Duolis vs Lienne Paris!!!! "

" The incredible performance shown by Vis, in the past matches, has defied every logic, and the Magic daggers' performance shown by Lienne is also top-tier. Who'll win? Will it be Vis or Lienne? "

" Don't let your eyes go away from the arena, 'cause we'll start the match right awwwwwwwaaayy!!!! "

The spectators roared from their seats, as two figures entered the arena from the opposite vertical sides. They came closer and closer until there was 5 metres distance space between them. Drake shouted, " Take your position, 1...............2.............3.............4...........and ...... begin!! "

Lianne didn't waste her time, she took her daggers out from her back and attacked Vis, out of the blue. There was no time for Vis to react , he only received the blows from Lienne's daggers . Within a moment, of time, his porcelain beautiful body skin was covered with blood flowing from the cuts and wounds received by Lienne's daggers.

Vis was being completely dominated, he was enduring a lot of pain, but he did not gave in ,he tried to grasp the daggers from Lienne but she quickly got back and released her magic skill, the Phoenix flames, she was a fire - type elementalist, which was extremely rare in elemental type magic,so it, aroused the spectators' curiosity very quickly, she caught on the hop and attacked Vis from his rear with her Phoenix flames, burning his back and leaving Vis in a pathetic state. Vis had no strength to fight, but still, due to his survival instinct, he didn't still give up and pondered, " She is dominating me like I am some dog and she is the mistress. Remember, Vis, remember, yeah, 7 deadly sins, I know how to use it, too.....so, definitely......I need to, this is my last chance! I have to do this, no matter what."

A dark mist soon surrounded Vis and Lienne stopped her barrage of attacks; a magic circle appeared on the ground; the dark mist gathered towards the magic circle, forming a physical form of something. All of a sudden , a message popped up right in front of Vis.

"The Go-o-d system " John repeated the name in his mind, shaking up.

" Does, that mean? Ya! It's, the Gods' work, then something badass is here, the wait isn't it like a fantasy system story? I think so, it is, then.............. I am expert at that."

"Let's have some fun!!!! "

Suddenly, a barrage of notifications popped up out of nowhere in front of Vis, it seemed that Vis could only see the notifications, others can't.
