Pretty Smile

After being in a relationship for a few years, Niharika, like every girl, wanted to marry the man of her dreams – Siddharth. She often broached the subject with him but Siddharth was in no hurry to get married. He was happy with how smoothly their relationship was going. He knew that eventually, they would, but didn’t want to change the status quo.

So on a special day, the two of them went for a dinner date in a grand restaurant and enjoyed a delightful meal. At the end of it, Siddharth casually remarked how happy he is with the way things were. Niharika got slightly miffed and began a discussion on why pros of marriage. The two Harvard students spent a long time debating the merits, demerits and consequences of getting married. Imagine the vigour in the atmosphere!

Finally Niharika got angry at the reluctance and conceded defeat "Alright fine I don't want to marry you either”

Before Siddharth could say anything, the waiter bought the dessert on the table. As Niharika stuck her spoon to take a bite of it, she hit something.

She took out the beautiful thing from in there and gazed at it in amazement.

"Do you still not want to marry me?" Siddharth retorted. Niharika couldn't stop blushing.
