Part 14- I hate him
Part 14- I hate him
Next morning, Ameha got up and went out for some fresh air. She saw the person she would never want to see at this moment. Akshat was again working out shirtless.
She hated him. Yet she didn't want to turn her face away from that gorgeous face and body. Ahh, bad people are good looking. She dragged herself back into reality and turned away to leave.
"Ahhh.." Akshat screamed with screeching pain. He was lying down beside the weights, his left hand supporting his right wrist.
"Akshat.." Ameha jumped the terrace & rushed to him. "Are you okay?"
"Yes I am fine."
"You don't look fine. We have to go to the doctor like now. You have strained your muscles maybe."
"I am fine Chandni."
"No you are not." She tried to get him back up & helped him to his room & informed her grandparent. They called the doctor from the clinic in the main market.
He bandaged Akshat's hand and suggested him a rest of atleast 15days. No work involving strength was allowed.
Ameha was sitting in a chair beside his bed when his grandmother brough in some lentil soup.
"I am not eating that Daadi.."
"You have to. How will you recover?"
"Please Daadi.. " She was disappointed and worried and thanked Ameha before leaving his room.
"You are stubborn Akshat. You are hurting people around you."
"Why do you care? And have you not hurt your people? your parents? Why are you even here ? In Suryapur? Is it not because, you have hurt someone?"
"Listen Akshat. I already hate you. Don't make me hate you more."
"How about you leave?"
"Not happening. " She pulled her chair closer to his bed and picked up the soup bowl.
"What are you doing?"
"First of all, you owe me a thank you. I helped."
Akshat rolled his eyes.
"And you have to eat this soup even if its disgusting." She filled the spoon and moved it closer to his mouth. Akshat opened his mouth to complain but Ameha fed him instead.
"You have to eat all. And then we can hate each other later." He didn't retaliate much anymore and she fed the whole soup.
"Okay Mr. Grumpy. I will let you be now. Don't miss me."
"Chandni.." I mean "Ameha.."
"Its fine. Chandni is fine. Naani calls me that too."
"Yeah whatever. Thanks."
"I am sorry. Didn't hear you Mr.Grumpy."
"Thanks." He said and looked away.
Ameha smiled and left his room with the empty bowl.
