On Our First Anniversary!!

Dear Chitra,

This was that one moment I had been waiting for. This is precisely one of those defining moments in life that you would replay again and again before it actually happens. I was anxious and curious but I was excited for I knew, Life was taking a turn on that day. I was the kind of person who would freak out at the mere mention of the word "Marriage". Here I am today, thinking and knowing that this was, indeed, the best decision I took. 

Dipal, If I haven't told you yet, let me tell you what you're to me. You're the feeling that a bird gets when it leaves its cage and glances at the sky. You are that moment of time when the earphones stuffed in the ears randomly play the song with memories galore attached to it.

You are to me what some old parchments are to a poet. You're that one drop of rain which falls inside a clam and then the pearl is born(I'm the clam). You're that right combination of words that seep into ears and etch into memory until eternity fades away. You're the calmness that the ocean brings. You're the inner voice that thuds into my ears and whispers me to stay strong when the grey clouds huddle around me. You're the book that I have on my nightstand and I wish to re-read it over and over again. You're what I am to myself. Maybe more...
