Old Age Needs Love

As the very famous valentine's week is progressing, I saw how couples are excited to gift their beloved ones. Today, I saw a big red-colored teddy bear taken by a guy, wrapped in plastic, ready to be gifted to his lover, sat on the floor of toto, which I took to travel to my nearest stop...

We often forget to thank our parents, for their infinite love, countless care, and immeasurable passion for us. We take it for granted. They are getting older, with time. All parents are not lucky enough to be coupled in old age and remain single and lonely, dependent on their children, and their child when grown-up find no time to even look at them. And at times ready to send to them to their unfortunately destined old age homes. 

The other day, an elderly woman was collecting money for a well known old age home. I paused before moving forward and contributed as much as I could... It filled my heart with grief and despair, may I not be the one sending my parent to an old age home on any day of my life. May I be not the unfortunate to do such an act till every breath of my life!

People get married at a young age to have a life partner, but at times they get divorced or tragedy commences upon them. If they get children they become their sole companion and caretaker. And not all times, may it be due to family disputes or superposition of selfishness takes over and parents get abandoned from their very own house, by their very own children whom they brought up with so much care, love, and empathy...

They are treated as a burden. The very thought of these brings tears to my eyes and my body shakes with an indomitable pain...

So dear readers, valentine's week is not only the time to show our love, care, and gratitude towards our caregiver and parents, it's every moment, we should express our love towards them.
