Odisha Still Stands Straight

They consider Odisha as a poor state. But why don't they see that Odisha still stands straight after every natural disaster each year be it flood or Cyclone? And dealing with a natural disaster is not an easy task as they think. 

We all came to see that National media does not give much importance on this issue as they are busy in other stuffs.

And it also happened When Odisha arranged Men's World Cup Hockey. Odisha Government has also sponsored both the men & women's national hockey teams for five years. This is the first time any state has entered to such sponsorship. But National Media did not give importance on this issue too. But yes the reporters of National media only come to Odisha to collect news like 'Dana Majhi' & Poverty related issues.

Why??

And yes thanx to those media who took initiative to telecast this news.

And at the same time, During Fani Cyclone in Odisha I got disappointed when news anchor of national media compared Cyclone Fani with Election in India by saying "Let's move on from cyclone Fani bcz desh me election ka toofan jo chal raha hai"

 They should go to ground zero where they can realize what has really happened. It is true that Odisha govt. stood successful to save many lives but what's about the huge devastation?
