A Widow

We should not need famous persons to be inspired. We can get inspiration from anyone's life. We have to observe it and learn from anyone's life, those inspire us in various ways. Life is full of surprises, inspirations & challenges we have to observe one by one.

I am sharing a real story here, as I inspired by her strong determination.

I am not narrating a famous lady's story here, A woman who is leading a simple lifestyle and lives in a slum area with her two children.

So, Why am I saying about her? I inspired by her strong determination. And her strong determination is to give proper education to her children. She lost her husband last year and her husband was daily labor. At the time of working, he fell down from the terrace and died.

How did I know her?

I meet her daily morning, she sweeps the floor in my office. Generally, I talk to her and ask about her. So she was a house-wife. But after her husband’s death, everyone suggested her to not wasting money in education as she wanted to educate her children. Others suggested that her daughter should get married and son should go for daily work.

But she did not, Do you know what did she do?

She did not give up and started working herself to earn money just to educate her children.

As I know about her past and I ask about her. She usually discusses with me everything. I told her to tell about her problems whenever required.

She told me, “ Mu sina gariba, khaibaku bhala re pauni ta boli kan mu mo chuanku sikhita kariparibini”.

Translation: I am poor and I don’t get enough food to eat. It does not mean that I am helpless and I am unable to educate my children.

Though she is not an educated person she knows well the value of education. Now, her daughter pursuing +2 Arts and Son is a student of class 10th.

What inspired me?

Her strong determination towards her own responsibility. She did not want to give up just because she is helpless or there is no one to stand behind her.
