Moon
Moon

One Monday night in the dead of winter
My eyes opened to a melancholic whimper
Rushing towards the window, I searched for the moon
Sitting in the lachrymal hour, it was laving my pain
Yet it gleamed with serenity in the midnight brume
Its pain asundered my heart like water drops in rain
I witnessed my heart pieces flowing to moon's halo
Arrived next aurora, everyone stood astound
For yesterday's waning crescent now grew into a full mellow
Upon their questioning, teary-eyed I answered
"It readily burnt itself to hell and drank my misery
In return, I gave it my heart to keep it full till eternity"
