The clinging of vessels reverberates in the air, their angry shouts disappoint him. All of twenty, his degree exams due in a month, he tries his best to focus but his parents just don't let him.

He stares listlessly at the sky. For the outside world, he has everything. A scion to a rich industrial family, doting parents, bright secure future...

If only they knew, there isn't a single peaceful day in his life, his parents fight all the time, they stress themselves out for money, they find no time for their son...

Examinations done and dusted, they wish to know what he would do next. He replies calmly, "I am embracing monkhood. "

His parents gaze at him in shock, his relatives can't believe their ears but he explains, "All my life, I had been bestowed with unending wealth. But of what use were all those riches when I couldn't know what's peace? I am now taking the road not travelled, giving up my comfortable life, in order to serve the less fortunate, to feed the poor and help the needy. I hope , in serving mankind, I'll finally find true happiness...attain Moksha. "
