Love Is An Endless Mystrey

-Shayra Solanki: A girl from Mumbai, very much passionate about trekking mountains all over the world.

     'THE NORTHERN GROUP OF TREKS,' announced their winter trek on Instagram to the most adventurous place i.e., "VALLEY OF FLOWERS AND HEMKUND SAHIB TREK." If nature had to decide a place to put its artwork on display, it could have been none other than the Valley of Flowers. This place is situated in the Chamoli district of Uttrakhand, it is a part of Garwhal Himalayas boasts of its diverse and unique floral treasure. The valley of flowers is fully covered with snow throughout the year except in the monsoon season. As many as 650 varieties of flowers are found here. You can spot the famous "Brahmakamal" and "Blue Poppy" flowers along the 10 kms stretch in the valley.

     Reading about the trek on Instagram many people from Mumbai registered their names for the trek. It was a 9 days trek. The trek began from Haridwar. From there the bus took them to their trekking spot. While Shayra entered the bus, Vihaan saw her and the magic of her beauty drove his heart crazy. They reached their base camp by evening. During the bonfire, Vihaan's friends insisted him to play guitar; as he was a very good singer as well as good at playing guitar. The song which he played was unknowingly Shayra's favorite song. While playing the song Vihaan maintained strong eye contact with Shayra and she was mesmerized by his melodious voice. After the bonfire was over Shayra walked towards him and said to him , "You have a wonderful voice and the song which you chose was one of my favorite songs." He said,  "thank you for the compliment". They both introduced themselves. The next morning, they started climbing the mountain and finally in the evening they made their tents at Ghangaria and rested. The next day they climbed the Govindghat and it started raining heavily during their trek.

     As the weather in the Himalayan ranges changes very frequently, so they had no idea regarding the sudden rains. Vihaan notices Shayra getting wet in the rains and he gives his coat to her. When they returned back to their base camp, Vihaan had a cold and he was suffering from high fever. Seeing Vihaan's condition she prepares soup for him and asks him to rest. When Vihaan wakes up in the  morning she gets a cup of hot coffee for him. After having their breakfast, they both join their colleagues for the trek. After their dinner, while everyone was enjoying the bonfire their trek guide informs them that, "Tomorrow we'll be visiting the valley of flowers which is 10kms long and 2kms wide divided by the Pushpawati stream wherein you can spot the famous flower known as"Brahmakamal."

     Hearing this news everyone was excited to see the Brahmakamal. After the announcement when everyone was fast asleep Vihaan notices Shayra sitting near the bonfire and writing something in a diary. Vihaan silently walks towards her in order to see what was she writing. As girls' are smart, Shayra felt as someone is peeping into her diary. So she closed her diary within a blink of an eye. Vihaan asked her, "What were you writing?"  She replies, " I have a habit to write a personal diary since my college days." If you don't mind, can I read your diary? No, not at all. I don't allow anyone to read my diary because it is something very personal to me. He says okay, but now he was curious to know what was written inside the diary. After their conversation, they both went off to sleep.

      The next day, while climbing the valley of flowers Shayra sees the Brahmakamal and asks Vihaan to stop. The Brahmakamal flower is at the end of the snow bridge.

     As soon as she starts walking towards the flower out of excitement, the snow bridge falls down. Vihaan somehow manages to save her from falling deep down the valley. In a fraction of seconds, when Vihaan pulled her towards himself. She hugged him tightly as her heartbeats had fastened, out of fear. After a few minutes when she became normal she asked Vihaan to hold her hand tight and she would bend towards the flower. As she wanted the flower at any cost because of it immense beauty and pretty colour. The coordination between them was perfect and Shayra succeeded in getting the flower. Finally, after their trekking, they rested in the base camp.

     As it was the second last day of their trek, everyone was excited to reach the top. They began their trek and reached the top within 4-5 hours. Vihaan was happy to reach the top but somewhere in the corner of his heart, he was sad as he didn't get time to confess his feelings to Shayra. Vihaan decides that when they'll get down from the mountain top, he'll confess his feelings to her. But when they return back to their base camp he doesn't find Shayla there. He asks her friends regarding Shayra. One of her friends replies, "She left for home today instead of tomorrow, as she had some important work at her place."

     Everyone returned back to their hometown with amazing and unforgettable memories. Vihaan wasn't happy going back home as he couldn't confess his feelings to Shayra and couldn't meet her. For few months , Vihaan continuously thinks about Shayra in the hope that she meets him again as soon as possible.

     After 2-3 months, he gets busy with his work and doesn't think much about Shayra. For Vihaan, Shayra was more than a friend but for her, he was just a good friend.

     After 3 years, Shayra goes on a family trip to Manali. Coincidently, Vihaan was also present in Manali, as he had gone there to meet his business partners. Shayra and her family steps at Rohtang pass for their lunch and even Vihaan was having his lunch there. While moving out of the hotel, Shayra finds a guy similar to Vihaan. She walks towards him in order to confirm that, " Is he Vihaan?" When she was almost close to that person she realized that he was none other than Mr.Vihaan Shetty. Looking at Shayra , his feelings for her started building up again. After seeing Shayra , Vihaan says, "Finally our paths crossed each other once again." Shayra introduces Vihaan to her family as her friend. As Shayra's family was in a hurry to catch their flight they left and even this time he was unable to confess his feelings.

     As Shayra is passionate about trekking she plans another trek. While trekking she slips and stands up on her own and remembers how Vihaan had saved her from falling down. She completes her trek and returns back home. While sleeping she thinks about Vihaan and starts falling for him. This time both liked each other and were waiting to meet again. Shayra overthinks about Vihaan. Finally, after controlling her feelings, she let the cat out of her bag and confessed her feelings to her parents, "I love Vihaan Shetty." Shayra suffered from stress as she couldn't find Vihaan.

     After a year. While Vihaan was driving his car, a girl suddenly comes in front of his car. As he was driving the car at a high speed he couldn't control his car and he hits that girl. He gets out of his car and gets shocked to see Shayra. He cuddles Shayra in his arm and rushes to the hospital. The doctor takes Shayra to the operation theatre and starts the operation. Vihaan completes all the documentation and in the meanwhile, Shayra's parents arrived. Her parents recognized Vihaan and ask him regarding Shayra's accident. He doesn't utter a word and rushes to the doctor as the operation was over. The doctor says in a soft tone, "Shayra's body is reacting against the treatment we gave her and she will die in few hours." So please go and meet her, her parents and Vihaan rush inside the OT to meet her. As Vihaan enters the ward Shayra asks the nurse to get her bag. Before Vihaan could say anything, Shayra removes her diary from the bag and says, "You wanted to read my diary right?" Read it after I leave, "My Mysterious Life."

     He gets emotional and says, "I liked you since the day I saw you for the first time and I love you a lot." While Vihaan confesses his feelings to her she starts breathing fast and utters slowly, "I LOVED YOU TOO" and she sleeps forever. He cries a lot and visits her funeral to say her last goodbye. After a few days, he reads her diary titled, "MY MYSTERIOUS LIFE." It included a glimpse of everything, from her college life till her last day. Somewhere in the mid of the diary, he reads,

"I NEVER KNEW SOMEBODY COULD CARRY SO MUCH LIGHT. YOU WERE MY PRINCE CHARMING, AN IMAGE STRAIGHT OUT OF MY MIND."

     He even reads, "My diary said what I was unable to confess. I liked you as a friend on the trek but when I met you again my heart started beating for you. I was hesitant to confess my feelings in front of my parents. I wanted to exchange our numbers in Manali at Rohtang pass but the time wasn't in our favor. One day I'll definitely give you my diary, love you Vihaan."

     After reading Shayra's diary tears roll down his cheeks and he thinks, "I hope I could have been able to go back to my past days and confess everything earlier but know its too late. After a year his parents get him married and he says his love story to his wife. He says Shayra's diary is the last memory that I have. After hearing his love story his wife gets emotional as well as impressed and says,

"YOUR LOVE STORY IS AN ENDLESS MYSTERY,

THAT CAN NEVER BE EXPLAINED,

HOPEFULLY, YOU WERE A PART OF IT;

SO YOU CAN CREATE WONDERFUL MEMORIES."

I hope you meet her fortunately again in the next phase of your life.
