Parents - True Treasure

A middle class family of 3 lived happily in Mumbai. Mr and Mrs. Sharma with their one and only son Kunal. Their parents brought him up with shower of love and care. They sacrificed their dreams to fulfill all his wishes. Kunal's behaviour towards his parents was very stubborn and rude. Because he used to think that, "I am the only child so my parents would listen to all my shit." His parents tolerated his behaviour, imagining that someday he would change and realize their worth. Kunal completed his graduation. And plans to start his own textile business, he needed 50 lakhs to implement his dream plan. He orders his parents to give him 50 lakhs. His parents gave him 50 lakhs to see their son happy. Kunal started his business. Seeing him independent and successful, their parents decided to get him married. After his marriage, Kunal became ruder to his parents. His wife also ill-treated his parents. 

One day, Kunal said his dad to get bread for his breakfast. With his blurry vision and shivering legs, Mr.Sharma went down to get bread packet. As he was crossing the road, he met with an accident and died on the spot. Society members brought his Kunal's dad home and informed their family about the incident. This was a piece of shocking news for Mrs.Sharma because she lost her soulmate and old age support. Mrs.Sharma recovered slowly from the shock and started spending her days. As she was old and weak she required more attention and care from his son. But, Kunal denied to do so and decided to send his mom to the old age home. After, sending his mom to the old age home he never went to meet her.

AFTER 20 YEARS.

Kunal's son Rohit was very caring and humanitarian in nature. During vacation, Rohit decided to visit oldage home along with his friends. Rohit reached the old age home with all his friends. One by one he spoke to each one of them. And finally, he went to speak to Mrs.Sharma. She asked him, "Beta, tumhara pura naam kya hai?" He replied, "Rohit Kunal Sharma." After hearing his full name she realized that he was her grandchild. Mrs.Sharma told him her whole story but didn't reveal her identity. Rohit became emotional after hearing her story. She asked him to promise her that, "Beta, when I die don't allow my son to meet me" He says, "Ok, hugs her and leaves.

Rohit comes home and rest. One day while dining with his parents he narrates Mr.Sharma's story to them. Hearing this story Kunal starts crying and says, "Rohit, Mrs.Sharma is your grandmother" Today I realized that what I have lost by hurting her. The next morning, he wakes up and gets ready to visit the old age home. In the meanwhile, he gets a call from old age home saying that, Mr.Kunal your mom is no more.

Kunal gets numb and starts crying loudly and says, "Oh god, please forgive me for what I did to my mom and dad."

Rohit: He says, "Dad everything is over but do make sure that no one else does this to their parents."

"RESPECT YOUR PARENTS BECAUSE WHAT YOU ARE AND WILL BECOME IS ALL BECAUSE OF THEM."
