Knowing Yourself

Roarrr.....a lioness roared in pain. She had given birth to a cub and she died after giving birth. The confused baby cub started walking around in the hope to find someone. A lioness saw the cub and immediately adopted it, she treated the cub like its own one. The cub was happy with them. Now he had a strong dad, a caring mother, and naughty brothers! One day, the little cub was jumping and kidding around when it saw a herd of sheep. They were chattering and grazing fresh, green grass. The cub found it interesting and started bleating like them! It even grazed on grass!!! The other sheep teased him they said ' You can't even bleat properly!' 'You are a disgrace!!'. The little cub listened to all their talks and felt bad. Still, it didn't stop bleating and grazing!

t its presence and started running away. The lion came out of its spot and when it was about to attack the sheep, it saw the cub running away with them. It decided to talk to the cub. It went close to the cub and caught hold of it. The cub closed his eyes tightly and begged the lion not to eat him. The lion laughed heartily. It said 'Are you mad? You are a lion just like me! Stupid!!' The baby lion opened his eyes slowly and asked 'But I am a sheep!! Not a cub!!' The lion dragged him to a river nearby and told the cub to look in the water. The cub realized it was a lion and not a sheep! It roared loudly! Its voice echoed in the jungle. The sheep who were peeping got scared and ran away in fear. The cub knew who he was now!!
