Kidnapped (High School Series)

Today is Wednesday and I'm on my way to school. Things were way too better last week than this week and to make situations worst, seven girls were recently kidnapped and that too in my school. I had to compare myself to the kidnapped girls, I mean, I had to put myself in their shoes since I was in the same school as them and the possibility of being kidnapped too was high. My name is Jessy Fin and I'm seventeen years old. I'm in my final year at high school. As I walked in the street, I felt anxiousness lingering around me. Apparently, I was the only person in the streets. There were luxurious cars parked in a line on both sides of the street. The distance between my home to my school isn't really long. I just had to walk for five minutes to the bus station then I board a bus to my school. Thankfully, I reached the bus station. The crowd of people around me instilled in me a sense of security. I got safe and relaxed. It was when I sat on the bus that I realized that I was sweating profusely. I wiped my brow with my handkerchief and sighed. After seven minutes, I reached my school. I walked straight into my classroom. Immediately I sat at my position, I occupied myself with watching my crush, Arvin Davillla who sat in front of me with his back towards me. My lips curved into a smile as I watched him. I remembered an incident that happened when we were in our freshman year. Nobody, probably, could forget such a sweet incident. My mind went back to a flashback. Our class organized a beach party for us. It was held at Huntington Beach. I was only fifteen years by then and Arvin was probably sixteen years. I was standing alone minding my own business as I watched the others playing in the water. I saw some boys watching me with lust. I covered myself with my arms but it did no good. They were still staring as they talked among themselves and smiled. I decided to join my friends. I did as I said. Mati and I played with the water as we splashed it on ourselves. Still, I saw them staring. I got angry and I decided to go to the part where only my head could be seen. I wasn't a good swimmer but I managed to walk through the water. I craned my neck to have a look at the others. I didn't know that the current was coming towards me. Before I could look ahead, the current swept me. I started shouting for help but I was far away from my friends. I felt subconscious but before I could give up, strong arms held me. I opened my eyes slightly to find myself on a clean mat. I was under a coconut tree. I saw Mati kneeling beside me. What's up: I said weakly. I'm jealous of you:

She said flatly. I widened my eyes in astonishment. I expected her to be worried about me. Guess how you came here?: She asked. I shook my head innocently. Arvin brought you here. I widened my eyes. She nodded and smiled. He held you in his arms and brought you here then he put you here gently: She said gesturing. I blushed. You really are lucky. Every girl will die to be in your position now. I almost thought of drowning myself too: She said and placed the back of her left palm on her forehead then she stretched the other behind her. She then pretended to cry. Ok, I'll leave now: She said and left me to my thoughts. I tried to imagine myself in Arvin's arms. I blushed heavily and..... JESSY, JESSY, JESSY!!!: Matilda called but I was so much engrossed in watching Arvin that I didn't hear her call me. Jessy: She said and tapped me harder. I jerked myself as if a bomb was being thrown at me. I frowned. So you mean you don't hear me calling you?: She said as she snapped her fingers at me. Drat! How's that important to me: I said jokingly despite my slight anger. However, she considered it as a world cup. Seems like someone cherishes Arvin than me: She said and pouted making her look lovely. I hugged her tightly. Come-on, it was all a joke: I revealed. I'm sorry but even if I'm madly in love with him, it can never ruin our friendship: I added. Mati and I had a crush on Arvin but we were still best friends. Sorry: I repeated in an apologetic tone. Ok, apology accepted: She said and wore a smile but suddenly her smile changed to seriousness. What's up: I said. You are so pretty: She said and placed her fingers on my cheeks. She held them lovingly and stroked them gently. You're also pretty:I said and smiled. No: She said as if commanding me. I pulled my chest back. With your..: She said and sighed. With my what?: I asked with curiosity. With your beautiful brown eyes, your silky smooth brunette hair, your long lashes, your pointed nose, and your glossy lips: She said and sighed. Why are you acting so boyish today: I said taking her hands off my cheeks. You're so pretty: She shrieked but she sounded serious. Thank goodness the class was noisy already. I blushed. You're pretty too: I said calmly. Thanks: She said and blushed. My mind went back to the kidnapped girls and I felt uneasy and anxious again. After our first lesson, it was leisure time so I went to the clubhouse to do some yoga to release the tension I felt. It was quite a long day. Finally, it was closing time. Mati and I walked together as usual. We always walked home together. We were chatting about the latest gossip in school when she suddenly pointed her finger in a direction. I looked at the direction and I saw Arvin coming towards us. We both gaped at ourselves. I quickly straightened my dress and Mati did some sharp make-up. Arvin stopped halfway and beckoned Mati to come over. He..he. called me: She widened her eyes as she stammered. Go for it girl: I encouraged. She nodded wildly and trotted off. I felt jealous but she was actually my best friend so I shrugged it off. Moments later, she came back with rather a look of unhappiness. What's wrong?: I asked. He likes you rather, he doesn't like me: She said flatly. No, you didn't understand:I said trying to hide my happiness because I didn't want her to feel sadder. Arvin was coming towards me now. She made to go but I held her arm pleadingly. Please don't leave me alone with him.pleeease: I said. This is your chance. I'm happy for you: She said and forced a smile. She held my hand and pulled it off gently as I watched. Good luck: She said and walked off. I breathed in and out several times. I decided to walk off but before I could do that, someone held my wrist gently. I clenched my fist and I turned. I made my body stiff. I couldn't look at him. His gaze was so magnetic. I looked downwards. Hi Jessy: He said sweetly. Uh, hi yeah: I said trying to sound cheerful. Hey, can I ride you home: He said pleadingly. I wanted to shout YES! but I controlled myself. Alright: I said lowly. He leads me to his car. You have a car?: It finally dawned on me to ask. He chuckled. Yeah: he answered. We were at the school car park by then. He opened the door for me. I sat and sighed. He drove me home. Since that day, he always insisted that he'll take me home. On one of those days, another incident, sweet but more romantic happened. He drove me home alright. I got off the car. Thank you: I said and made to go. Wait: He said and stood by the car. He leaned on the car with folded arms. What's up: I asked. Any surprise?: I said jokingly. He shook his head and still smiled at me. I furrowed my brows. We were just best friends now so I talked freely to him. You have to kiss me before you go: He said shamelessly. I gaped at him. Wait, what?: I exclaimed. I'm serious: He said looking away. No way!: I said and made to go but he grabbed my wrist and pulled me towards him. I tried to release his grip on me but ... was to no avail. I sighed as he looked at me teasingly. His blue eyes gleamed. I breathed in and clenched my fist. I kissed his cheeks lightly but he moved his face and our lips touched. My heart was beating faster. I felt butterflies swimming in my belly. I wanted to go back but he embraced me. I struggled but I was no match for his strength. He turned over and pinned me to his car. The kiss finally swept me. I gave in totally. I closed my eyes and held the nape of his neck. He held my neck with his left hand and he held my slender waist. I closed my eyes. The kiss almost led to something else. He hesitated to leave me but he finally left me. I relaxed for breath. I love you: he said with a smile and went into his car. Take care: He added. I stood as I watched his car go with surprise. I wanted to say something but nothing came out of my mouth.
