Horror Diaries: The Haunted Road... Episode 1/10

Miya was an office girl. Every day she used to go to her office at 10:00 AM and come back to her home at mostly 8:00 PM or 9:00 PM and not more than that. But one day... Due to a very much work burden, Miya was very late, she left her office at sharp 12:00 AM after completing all her work. Everyone had left the office at their usual times except Miya. Miya started walking after leaving her office, in search of any vehicle. It was very late, not even a single dog was present on the road. It was completely dark and the area was full of silence. Miya's home was very much far from her office. Miya started to walk, the sounds of Miya walking on the dried leaves were adding a bit of uneasiness in the background. Miya's company was in a deserted environment, not even a single house was present beside or around it. Miya decided to walk to the Bus Stand which was just 10 minutes far from her office, to find any vehicle. Miya was walking alone on the deserted road with her office bag hung on her shoulder and her water bottle with water enough for having only one sip, yet bravely without any fear. After some time, Miya saw a little girl, sitting on a bench and crying badly. Miya went to that little girl and offered that girl water. The girl didn't drink the water but said only one thing to Miya, which made Miya feel scared, " How are you, Miya? Do you know where is my elder sister and if you don't know then my nails are enough! " Miya was completely thrilled about how the girl got to know her name and why she was saying that her nails are enough. Miya didn't think anything and ran and ran from there. Miya reached the bus stop and by luck, a car was standing near it. Miya sat in that car and asked the driver for a lift. Miya somehow reached her home but she didn't tell the driver's address, but still, the driver left Miya in her home. Miya was spooked, she jumped from that car and entered her home.

Miya was shivering and shaking. Miya didn't even change her clothes and went to sleep. Miya couldn't sleep after that incident, all the bad memories of her incident were coming in front of her eyes periodically. Suddenly, that same little girl who was there on the road came into Miya's room. The girl was having that same bottle of Miya which she gave her, but the bottle was full and with blood. Miya cried, Help! The little girl sat on Miya's chest and tried to choke her neck. The little girl tried to tear Miya's neck but Miya moved her neck to the other side but still, Miya had nail marks on her neck, bleeding badly. The little girl said," You killed my sister, You killed my family, Now I'll kill you!" Miya was shocked by what the girl was saying. As soon as the little girl tried to speak more, Miya pulled the girl's hand from her neck and screamed, Help! Help! The little girl then took out a knife from somewhere, she was just about to kill Miya that Miya's elder brother came to her home. Miya's brother turned the lights on and that little girl disappeared from there, no one knows where? Miya was sitting with her mouth open, shivering. Miya's brother went to her and gave her water. Miya explained everything to her brother. Miya had nail marks on her neck which was proof of that unusual activity with her. Miya's brother and Miya, the next day, shifted to another city. Miya left that company and never went on that Haunted Road again. But after that incident, Miya would never use to go alone on her work, whether in any company. That incident made a brave and fearless girl believe in paranormal activities. After that incident, Miya would always stay afraid of small children, it was next to impossible for Miya to recover from her condition. Miya had never thought that her everyday road would become the Haunted Road of her life. That incident became the most unforgettable incident of Miya's life.
