Ravi: Mummy.. the milkman uncle has come!

Mummy: Okay. Come here and take his vessel to him. He must be standing outside the gate!

Ravi: Why???? He's just a milkman! Can't he come inside and knock on the door! Why I would go such a long distance for him?

Mummy: Keep in mind Ravi, he's coming to our home for us! Because we need milk! So, this milk is for us not for him! It's his job and he's doing it! Do one thing, bring milk from him then I'll tell you something!

Ravi: Hmmm... ( He went and brought milk from the milkman)

Mummy: Good! Now, tell me one thing, what do you want to become when you grow up... A doctor right!

Ravi: Yes!

Mummy: So, if I tell you that suppose you will become not a doctor but maybe a watchman of a hospital.

Ravi: Mummy! I don't want to become a watchman! The job of a watchman is inferior to that of a doctor! And whether in any situation I won't become a watchman or anything ha!

Mummy: That's your problem! Do you know the watchman uncle of our building, these milkmen and labourers, drivers, even the people who sweep and clean our surroundings, every one of them might have had dreams like you to become so-called superior jobs like doctor, an engineer but due to worse situations couldn't! My child, you don't know what is gonna even happen in the next second of your life so how can you be so sure about your future? I'm not saying you won't become a doctor because you have all of us with you! But, the orphans or people in worse situations don't have anyone! They have to choose such boring and inferior jobs, you called them na! You know the biggest mistake of our India is that everyone considers these labourers, small vendors and all below average, they even don't touch them because these people don't know that their daily needs are fulfilled by them only! We get milk from cows but who supplies it to us, the milkman! What if there would be no milkmen? The labourers that build our homes, what if they weren't there! The road sweepers and toilet cleaners, what if they didn't exist? Nothing could have worked right? We would have to do everything na? Always remember, our India is interdependent on every occupation! The doctors treat the patients, but they also need the ward boys and nurses and pharmacists for them! Actors act in various films but it is all done by the cameramen, spot boys! Our need for milk is fulfilled by milkmen! And much more people are there! These all are the unsung heroes! We should respect them! We should respect every occupation! Every occupation, every job is counted! No job is superior to a particular and no particular one is inferior to another job!

Ravi: Today, I understood that every job is special Mummy! I will respect every job from today!

Mummy: Okay! Understood...That's great! Now, who'll eat parathas?

Ravi: Me!!
