Gratitude

After failing in her boards, Rashi decided to commit suicide. She thought this was the end of the world. Her parents were disappointed. They told her that she was good for nothing. She went to the beach to drown herself as she didn’t know swimming.

She saw a mother playing with her daughter. The little girl was deaf and mute, yet her mother appeared happy. Rashi asked her how could she stay happy? The mother replied “My daughter is precious to me. Although she can’t speak or hear, she can at least walk. Life is too precious to regret.”
