God at tea stall
God at tea stall
They say that most gods reside on mountains because it is closest place to heaven on earth.
So one summer we went trekking. It was a lovely trail.; surrounded by apple and peach trees on both ends, periodically we'd spot vendors selling local fruit that was a rich source of water and carbohydrate. And to our luck, the day was bright but the sun wasn't piercing. After finishing half of our journey, we stopped at a tea stall.
As the vendor was boiling tea, we decided to take a stroll around when we noticed a shivling in the tea stall. "why do you have a shivling in your stall? I mean, it's the size that you'd see in a temple." I asked. The shivling stood on a platform, under a cloth roof.
"People do this trek to go to the god with their pleasing sides but it is here that they show their true colours. So I have a god to witness it," he replied.
