Fox's Drum

Once a fox lived alone in the forest. She loved to roam in the jungle and find some places. One such day, she heard a loud sound that she hadn't heard before. At first, she got afraid but then she gathered courage and started following the way from where the sound was coming. After walking for a few minutes, she finally saw the animal that was making the noise. It was large cylindrical and was resting against a tree and as the branches would hit it, a loud sound was produced. Fox thought the animal couldn't move, so it would make easy prey but as soon as she attacked it until t made a hole in its skin. The loud sound stopped. Fox was really happy to defeat such huge animals but then she heard a parrot laughing at her. She asked what was so funny.

"You're so stupid that you think you have won some battle but in fact, you have just torn the skin of a drum, an instrument that humans use to produce music. Some person must have left it, after facing a wild animal and when tree branched hit the top part, it made that loud noise." parrot explained.
