Life cannot be imagined without friends. There are no enough words to describe them. They play a vital role in our lives, one with whom we open up beyond boundaries with our regrets, our secrets and whatnot. Friendship is a family that we can choose on our own, a bond not by blood but a bond by heart. We meet every person in our life span for some of the other reasons. Friends are basically our stress buster and can laugh at one another stupid jokes for hours. Here I’m sharing a story that is based on a true incident.
We four (me, Manjuta, Shreya and kaynat) were working in the biggest healthcare industry of Delhi in the same department. We met over there only and became staunch friends. We all are of diverse religion but the common thing between us is LOVE. Bonding and the unity between us was fascinating. We were spending more than 10 hours together. We used to go cafe daily after our shifts to have scrumptious soup because we all are die-hard fans of a variety of soups. That was our daily routine. We used to capture the same place in the cafe regularly. We were well known to cafe staff as we were regular clientele. They used to book our place even before we arrived. Everything was going tranquil until that guy did not enter in our lives. He was a handsome and charming guy who could steal anyone’s heart. One of our friends ( Shreya) introduced him to us. He was her schoolmate and recently shifted to Delhi for a job and incidentally met her in the cafe. Gradually he became our friend but still, the bonding was not so good with him as he was of different nature but still the coolest one. Shreya and he used to spend more time together as they both used to dwell in the same PG. Fortunately, he also got employed in our organization but the department was different. We all were enjoying our lives very well, shopping, movies, live concert, and many more in sync, even dealing with tough times together. He was also with us in every event. Once Shreya’s parents called up that they are visiting Delhi to meet a guy whom they selected for her wedding. We all were very jubilant and planned to visit with her parents to look for that guy. We three, Shreya’s parents and her friend visited on the planned day. That guy was pilot by profession and sophisticated. Everything was perfect so her parents decided engagement and wedding date and we all were on cloud nine. We planned a lot for her marriage. And finally, D day arrived. There was lots of hustle-bustle at her place and we were all engaged with some work in order to help her parents. Conclusively Phera’ s started and abruptly Shreya’s friend got up and caught her hand and made her stand from that ceremony. Everybody was astonished to see that revulsion of him. Shreya asked him to leave hand, he responded, he can’t live without her and will not let her marry. After long bickering, her kins and kith decided to call cops and they turned up after some time. It was distinct that the ball was in Shreya’s court and she concluded that she will marry a guy who was finalized by her parents. After this storm, things went well. That guy was still working in the same organization and now he is flirting with many girls. We appreciate Shreya’s wise decision and love her more than before.
