Four Friends

Akash, Karthik, Sunitha and Gauri were four office colleagues who shared a two-bedroom apartment. Akash and Karthik shared a room while the girls shared another. The four roommates decided to go for a trip to a local destination for a week to stay in a resort. All four of them were thick friends and had an eye on each other. Akash adored Gauri while Sunitha liked Karthik. Though the boys and girls sleep separately in their respective room back at home, they decided to break the tradition during the trip. All four were very eager and nervous to be with their interest. Though there was some level of intimacy that night, the couples felt it to be forced rather than a natural one. They realised the awkwardness could be because of the new experience and decided to try again the next night. No luck on the second or third night as well. They concluded that their friendship bond was stronger than intimacy and hence switched back to their old roommates for the rest of their stay. They realised how much they missed their roommates and felt comfortable with each other. The roommates soon understood that their soulmate was right in front of them when a normal unplanned night gradually turned out to be a steamy one.
