Near to the Pykara Lake of Ooty, a 16-year old Teenager in 1993 calling himself John Edward kills five teenage girls.

Elsewhere in 1998 near to Nilgri Blue Mountains, another killer calling himself "The Innocent Caller" kills a young 12-year old girl and threws her in a nearby river with few other girls.

Fifteen years later, an adult John Edward, with red eyes, black coat-shoot and thick pants spies his another victim, who is also a woman. She is going into a rainforest in Nilgris for a trip. At present, John Edward has come for Nilgris, escaping from Kashmir regions. He used to change the places then and there.

After the young woman passed into the dark scenario of the forests in Nilgris, John Edward looks back side. Noting that, there are none of the people, John jumps and ties up the women. He forcefully takes her to a nearby house, where John removes his shirt and pant. He forcefully makes the girl naked and brutally rapes her to death.

As he have satisfied his temper by raping the women brutally, John takes his surgical knife and slits her throat. She died. Inspite of her death, John's mind doesn't get satisfied. He continues to cut her body using his surgical knives.

Continuous death of young woman and the dastardly act of the psychopathic serial killers panicks the public and the city is given a red alert, by the media.

Police department is insulted and spoken ill by the media and local people. They accuse the police for being careless and blames for their late reaction against the crimes, that are committed.

ACP Akhil IPS is left disgraced due to the problematic situation in Nilgris. His higher authorities berates and forces him to fasten the investigation. He henceforth, calls his ex-colleague ACP Ram, who now works in Coimbatore district. Because, the present team is unable to proceed the case to the next level.

"How are you Akhil?" Ram Aravinth asked him, with a sign of smile, in his face.

"I am fine, Ram. I want you to come back for Nilgri da." Akhil said in a low-voice tone.

"What happened da? Why suddenly? Is Anything panick in that place?" Ram asked him, out of curiosity.

"Yes da. Here, the situation is out of control. Several women are getting killed by two unknown serial killers. We are unable to proceed with the investigation." Akhil said.

However while they are conversing each other about this issue, Ram is informed by one of his colleague that, a relative to Ram have came to meet him and inform about something, that's very important.

"Ok Akhil. I will catch you up later on. Bye." Ram said and hangs the call, without giving him a reply.

He goes to meet his relative. He is a tall man around 6 to 8 inches of height. His weight is exactly around 64 kilograms and wears a steel-rimmed blue spectacles. With his blue eyes and white colored face, he is waiting for Ram, with a pale look, seen clearly in his face.

"Hey Surya. Why have you came at this time da? What happened?" Ram asked out of panick.

"Ram. This is quite panicking news for you da. Kindly bear with me." Surya said in a low-tone and moody voice.

"What happened da? You seem like crying?" Ram asked to Surya, after noticing the tears in his eyes, flowing like Yamuna River.

"The princess of our house have gone missing itseems, da." Surya said and he breaks down, sitting in a nearby chair.

"How that incident happened da? Who informed you that, Aditi(whom he named as the Princess of the house) have gone missing?" Ram asked out of panick, with a drop of sweat in his face, which shows that he is fearing for the safety of Aditi.

Aditi is currently the student in Defence Services Staff College of Nilgris. Since childhood, she dreamed to join the defence force, getting trained from Ram in Coimbatore during childhood days.

Until Akhil called Ram, it was just an official investigation for him. But, after his niece got kidnapped by Edward, this have became a personal case for him.

"Akhil. I don't know whether I am good enough to take up this investigation. But, I have to investigate this case, in order to rescue my niece back from the serial killers. I am coming to Nilgris to investigate this case." Ram said in a full-pledged voice tone about his acceptance for investigating the case. Akhil feels happier.

While going in the car heading towards Nilgris, Ram recalls his love interest Dr.Yazhini. She was working as a Cardiologist in the private hospitals of Nilgris. While, Ram was serving as the ACP of Nilgris, with his colleague Akhil.

Akhil was married to Ishika and he had a ten year old daughter Harshini. Ram and Yazhini's marriage was fixed. However his rivals, whose case he had been investigating along with Akhil kidnaps Yazhini, while she is returning from her hospitals, in order to get hold of Ram.

Yazhini tried to escape from them. However, she gets pushed by a henchman in the process. Akhil took her to the hospitals, while Ram got hold of his rivals.

Later, he goes to see Yazhini in the hospitals. "Hey. What happened da? Is she okay?" Ram asked to Akhil.

"Ram. I am sorry da. She is dead. I tried my best to save her by driving faster. But, unable to..." Akhil said. He is heartbroken to hear the news from Akhil and finally, consoles down. After cremating Yazhini, he and Akhil joins together and finished off their rivals brutally and framed it as an encounter to avenge Yazhini's death.

Afterwards of her death, Ram got a voluntary transfer from Nilgris and shifted to Coimbatore, despite being stopped by Akhil. At present, Akhil and Ram meets each other in the office, where they have a discussion about the victim's murders.

They meet detectives Nikhil and Hussain Ahmed, who have a sharp eyes and skilled analysis of crime scenes. Ram asks Akhil, "Why have these two came here da? Who are they?"

"These two are detectives da: Nikhil and Hussain. I have roped them for this investigation." Akhil said to him.

"Do they know about this case?" Ram asked to Akhil, with a doubtful looks in his eyes.

"Yes da. Indeed, they have the strong information about this case. That's why I have brought them." Akhil said.

Ram slowly goes near Nikhil with his sharp looks and asks him, "Nikhil. I wanted to know more about the victim's death. Could you please tell me, kindly?"

"Yes sir" said Nikhil. He asks Hussain to bring a pendrive, which contains full evidence about this case. Hussain agrees and brings the evidence. Then, in a computer, Nikhil explains about the case.

"Sir. This girl's name is Pratyusha. She was a college-going student. Maximum I think she would be 18 years old. She have came for a trip to Ooty recently for a rainforest. A strange man have followed her behind and kidnapped her. She was then raped and killed with a strange knife sir. When we examined her body with the help of postmortem examiner, we analyzed that she could have been killed with a surgical knife." Nikhil said with a laser, showcasing her dead body, footprints of the murderer and the dark rainforest.

"So. The murderer have planned smart. He have analyzed the place clearly and then, kidnapped her in a dark place. Am I right?" Ram asked in a commanding manner.

"Yes sir. You are right." Hussain replied.

"Only this girl gone missing and got killed. Or is there any other victims?" Akhil asked.

"There are eight to ten girls missing sir. But, not in Nilgris alone sir. From various states like Andhra, Karnataka Assam and Kashmir. Even in our state, from several districts reports of missing have reached us sir. But in all these cases, CBI and CID have received notes from someone sir." Hussain explained by showing the missing girls and their found dead body.

"I understood what you told. But you told that, a notes had been sent right. What's that?" Akhil asked Nikhil and Hussain.

"Sir. The note is from someone. He called himself as John Edward." Hussain said.

While they are investigating about the serial killer on one side, John Edward enters into a house, which looks quite dark and dim. There, he abducts another woman Dr. Anjali. She is working as an young physician in a nearby private hospitals of Nilgris. She was meditating in the dark room, when John entered into the house.

He abduct her and makes her a part of his harem of young, attractive, and exceptional women. In Hyderabad, reporter Konidela Bhuvan Raj is working on a serial killer story about "The Innocent Caller", who has just raped and murdered a 14-year old girl. He threatens "bonus kills" if his letters are not published in her newspaper. CBI officer Mohan Chowdary meets Raj in Hyderabad to discuss about the case.

Meanwhile, Edward plans to kill Anjali because she has broken his rules. Unknown to Edward, she is trained in Karate, Silambam and Adimurai, as a part of Martial arts student before a few years back. Using her martial arts skills, she fights off Edward and manages to escape.

While escaping, she realizes that it's a dark and dense rainforest area near to Avalanche. She runs into the forest and jumps off a cliff into a river. Meanwhile, Ram discovers with the help of Nikhil and Hussain that, one of The Innocent caller's notes published in the IMDB's mentions Aditi. After contacting Raj and his editor-in-chief, both Akhil and Ram learns that Edward and The Innocent Caller are communicating as East Coast and West Coast serial killers.

Anjali, recovering at a hospital, is visited by Ram and Akhil. "How are you Anjali? Are you feeling better now?" Ram asked her by touching her cheeky face.

"I am fine sir, thanks to my Martial arts skills. If not, I could have became another victim." Anjali said in low-voice.

"As a physician, you may know why have we both came here now!" Akhil told her with a grit tone.

"Yes sir. Very well I know. You have came to ask me, how I got kidnapped by Edward. Am I right sir?" Anjali asked by looking at him. They looks silent.

"Before I got kidnapped by him, he injected Marinol forcefully into my hand. Then he took me to a dark rainforest sir. It's near to Avalanche, as per my guess." Anjali said by looking at Ram.

"Ram. I think he is a pharmacist or maybe a doctor." Akhil said to Ram, upon hearing her statements.

"Your point is right, Akhil. This injection is strictly used for medical purposes. So, as per your guess, he could be a trained doctor. Because, only a trained doctor could be able to inject such a drugs." Ram said closing his eyes and reminiscancing about the incidents.

While speaking, he gets a call from CBI officer Mohan Chowdary. "Yes sir." Ram said.

"Mr. Ram. A sad news for us. Editor Raj got murdered by The Innocent Caller." Mohan said in a low-tone voice.

"Sir. How he got murdered? What happened?" Akhil asked him, after hearing this shocking news from him.

"His files contained the possible suspect, Dr. Aravinth Reddy, guys. He is a doctor in one of the private hospitals of Hyderabad. That's why Raj got killed by The Innocent Caller, as per my deduction." CBI officer Mohan said to Akhil and hangs the call, requesting them to find out the serial killers soon. Because, they are creating panick atmosphere all over the country.

With a prior approval from Indian Government and State Government, Ram forms up a team with state police officers accompanied by Akhil, Detective officers: Nikhil and Hussain, Dr. Anjali and CBI Officer Mohan. They bases their investigation in Hyderabad, hoping that the killer is residing there at present. Anjali and Ram eventually develops a close bond of friendship and it soon blossoms into love during the period of Journey.

With the help of a resident, Ram manages to find out the house of Aravinth Reddy and goes inside his house. There, he finds out Aravinth. He gets beaten up by Ram, severely. Then, gets arrested by the police. Knowing that, he cannot bear the beatings and is weak physically, they torments and subjects Aravinth to physical tortures, hoping that he would confess the truth.

Unable to bear the pains, Aravinth agrees to confess the truth about the two guys. The two serial killer's name is just their pen name and their original name is actually: Sanjith and Dhivakar. Both of them are not known each other in childhood. But, they both had a tragic past.

(Narrative mode about the two guys)

Sanjith hailed from a rich family background in Nilgris. His parents were busy handling business projects and other related issues. However, they managed to spend enough times with Sanjith, teaching him moral values and good thoughts.

He was honest, humble, calm and good student in the class. And in addition, he was the Topper of the class and studied well. However, one of his classmates, notably a girl called Deepika was jealous. Because, she was surpassed by him in the studies.

One day, she wantedly complaint to her teacher(with the help of few friends Aaradhana, Deepika, Jhansi Singh, Deeksha Seth and Harini Goel.) that, Sanjeev tried to misbehave with her. The class teacher being a woman, gets moved by her acting and henceforth, humiliates Sanjith. He claims his innocence. His friends too tried to prove his innocence. But, it all fails due to the acting, put up by the girl.

Sanjith's parents tells him that, "They knew his innocence" and after he pleads the teachers, they forgives him. But, one day, his parents meet with an accident and dies. It happened when they thinked about the incidents. He was left heartbroken.

Finally, the class teacher of Sanjith learned that, "Sanjith is innocent and informs this to the school principal." However, it's already late. Since, an angry Sanjith kidnapped Deepika and brought them to a secluded forest near Pykara. Sanjith kills other girls brutally to death, except Deepika. Since, he have to talk with her.

His father have teached him about using the methods of drug injection. "Sanjith. Please don't do anything. I am innocent." Deepika said out of panick.

"On what way did I harm you? I dreamed to become big in my life by studying well. Is that wrong? As I surpassed you in studies, will you frame me for the mistake which I didn't commit. Now, I am going to do what you told there in reality. You don't worry." Sanjith said in full fire anger.

"Sanjith. Please forgive me. I did it out of anger." Deepika said in fear.

This infuriates Sanjith and he slapped her left and right. He further tells her, "Without knowing, ah! Because of you, I lost my parents. You should suffer the pains, which I am suffering now."

"Someone please help me." Deepika shouts and tried to escape from the place. However, Sanjith holds her, removes her dresses after removing his dresses. Then, he brutally raped her, until his anger came down.

Deepika sobbed and Sanjith tells her, "Those women, who tries to do anything wrong to others means, they would suffer like this only. You are such a beautiful girl, Deepika. I have enjoyed your body by touching every parts. Especially your breast, pelvis and chest. But, I wanted wanted kill you right. Then only, my parent's soul would rest in peace." Deepika was the girl who got killed by Sanjith at the beginning in Nilgris, along with the other victims.

"Sanjith unseathes a nearby sword and hacked her brutally to death, until his anger comes down. Then, he met me with his sword. I supported his activities and he continued to rape several other girls, in the same way due to the psychological disturbance." Aravinth said, with a look of fear in his eyes.

"Then, what about that Dhivakar? How he and Sanjith met?" asked Ram and Akhil. Aravinth tells about him.

(Narration followed about Dhivakar.)

Dhivakar was raised by his single father Ramakrishnan. His mother passed away, after his birth. He was blessed with immense talent of playing Volleyball, since childhood. He studied in Nilgris.

Aravinth was his neighborhood, at that time. Because, he have changed his school. Dhivakar is quick-tempered, calm and hot-blooded boy. Dhivakar never like girls, contrast to Sanjith, who developed hatred for girls, after suffering a drastic turn over in his life. He doesn't know about Sanjith at that time, however.

Dhivakar's talents made a few girls to develop a jealous feel against him. He further topped up the Volleyball match when he was 12 years old. His friend Vaishnavi, a girl who lost the match wants revenge for losing her match.

She henceforth, teams with a few of her friends and planned to frame for a mistakes, which he didn't commit. At that time, a drug cocaine is found out by the school management. Taking the situation to their advantage, Vaishnavi framed up Dhivakar for the case. Her friends confesses the words, that were cooked up and told by Vaishnavi and manages to clear all the questions, that were posed. Her friends and Vaishnavi feels happier.

Dhivakar gets evicted from the school. His father however, knew that his son haven't done the mistakes. He further learned that, his talents have made a jealousy feel for his classmate. He decides to resolve the issue. But, he dies in his sleep, due to the stress and sadness. This evokes Dhivakar to develop more hatred against women and he angrily kidnaps Vaishnavi and her team.

Meanwhile, in the school, the management catches the real user of drug cocaine. They learns that, "Vaishnavi have fabricated the story to take revenge against Dhivakar." They searches for her. But, she have not come for the school.

It's unknown that Dhivakar have kidnapped them. He brutally rapes Vaishnavi to death, after making her nude. Then, he cuts her body into two parts using a surgical knife. Then, he threw her body into a nearby river with few other girls, the same way. Vaishnavi was the girl, who got killed by Dhivakar along with her friends.

Afterwards of the murder, he escaped from the place and met Sanjith, with the help of Aravinth. They joins together and escapes to Hyderabad, where they decided to join in a Christian orphanage trust. When being asked about their names, Sanjeev told his name as John Edward. While, Dhivakar told his name as "Innocent."

"Dhivakar and Sanjeev studied well on one side. On the other side, they continued to commit the rapes and murders as a full-pledged crime. I helped them in the crime after becoming doctor in a hospital, near Hyderabad." Aravinth said in a low-tone, showing his signs of tiredness.

Aravinth then shoots himself by grabbing a nearby gun, fearing that, he would be killed brutally by Sanjith and Dhivakar. Now, the police team is left hijacked. Because, the only guy who knows about their identity was this fellow. But, he too have died now.

However, the identity of killers have been revealed. What next will the police force do? They would start a manhunt all over the Indian State. That only happens here also.

But, there's no use by doing so. Because the killer escapes several times and manages to vanish quicker. This showed their smartness in evading the police force. Meanwhile, Akhil finds a route map chart in Aravinth's house and calls Ram.

"Yes Akhil." Ram said, putting the phone on loudspeaker.

"Ram. I found a route map in Aravinth's house." Akhil said through his phone.

"Sir. Take that route map and come back here." Nikhil, Hussain and Anjali said with a happier voice, hoping that it's a route map to Dhivakar and Sanjith's house.

After he have came, Akhil and Ram hatches a plan to bring down those two serial killers. Nikhil asks to Ram, "What's that plan sir?"

"When we are doing sums in accountancy, we follow three golden rules("Debit the Receiver, Credit the giver", "Debit what comes in, Credit what goes out" and Debit all expenses Credit all income. The same principles is going to be followed in order to catch those serial killers." Ram said to his team, to which everyone laughs.

"I am not joking guys. It's serious. We have to attack them emotionally. Then only, we could be able to stop them and catch. Only difference here is, those two serial killers would be a liability. While, we are all assets." Ram said and further says, "I wanted to save my niece at any cost. Hence, I would go to any extent."

With Ram's smart plans, the team asks the TV channels to telecast the news like this saying that, "The two killer's name had been identified as Sanjith and Dhivakar with the help of Aravinth. He have shot himself to death, out of guilt." It's telecasted by the media people.

The team agrees and while they are going in the car, Ram and Akhil discuss a theory that the girls are being held in an underground house, built in an area that was part of the Talakona Forestry areas.(It was found out by Ram, in later periods) Knowing the national wide hunt and Aravinth's suicide, Dhivakar and Sanjith teams up together in order to defend themselves. They attack Anjali(by wearing face masks) after she returns home, leaving her seriously wounded.

Upon seeing Anjali in the pool of blood, Akhil backs off in tears. 

"What happened da?" Ram asked and he tries to go and see Anjali. But, gets stopped by Akhil.

"Please don't go da...you should not see her da..." Akhil cried.

However, he pushes him asides and saw Anjali, been hit brutally. Initially, he falls down in tears. However he gets consoled afterwards.

In this crime scene, Ram notices the difference in attack, compared from the first one and suspects the involvment of both Dhivakar and Sanjith, this time. Ram and Akhil realizes that, their concept had worked out. Since, both of them have came out from their hide out.

Then, Ram and Akhil goes alone to search the previously unsearched area in Talakona Forestry, without the help of other people. They find a dark underground house with the captive women. However, the two killers(by wearing masks in their respective faces) have been watching and assaults them. Initially, both Ram and Akhil loses power and energy. They fell down like a helpless tiger. But, they later on gains upper hand and manages to overpower both Dhivakar and Sanjith. When they were about to remove their face masks, both pushes the duo asides and flees from the place. In the process, Dhivakar gets injured with a bullet in his hand.

Then, Akhil and Ram rescues the surviving woman from the underground, including Aditi. They are reunited with their loved ones. Aditi emotionally thanks his niece for rescuing them successfully. Because, he have done a great job by saving women, who were forcefully kidnapped.

Meanwhile, Akhil asks to Ram, "Ram. Your accounts theory is almost in done stage da. They have came out and have assaulted us."

"No Akhil. The theory is half way only success. The other half us yet to go on. Those guys have managed to let their face identity unknown." Ram said, discussing with Akhil. While discussing the case, Nikhil meets them in the office. He salutes them.

He tells them, "Sir. I have found out that, Hussain was indeed Sanjith. That was really shocking sir. He have assumed the name of Hussain, after killing the real Hussain and have been spying in our investigation procedures for these many days. So be careful guys."

Having known this information from Nikhil, Ram decides to conduct his own stakeout despite been stopped by Akhil, who concerns about him a lot. He follows Sanjith, who is looking for a next woman to kidnap. Ram snoops into a house which Sanjith has entered. He sees him and they fight. Later, Ram learns that the women is Sanjith's mistress.

A while later, while visiting Anjali, Ram goes jogging and finds a dead Mohan in roads. He runs back to the house where Sanjith hits him with a stun gun. With Ram being incapacitated, both Dhivakar and Sanjith heads for Anjali, to get her killed. But, she fights them off and gets them defeated.

As Sanjith aims his gun at her, Ram reminiscences about the same incident, in which Yazhini was pushed off from the cliff to asides. He recovers in time henceforth, and shoots Dhivakar-Sanjith in in right and left chest respectively.

They falls down with a smile. Then during their last moments, Ram reminds them by saying that: "Not all the women are bad, as they think off. Some are bad and some are good. They did first murder to avenge their parent's death. But, as they proceeded to do the same way of killing, even their parents would not forgive. God would punish the one, who try to do sinful activities."

Dhivakar and Sanjith realizes their mistakes. Having realized their mistakes, they calls Ram as, "Brother. Stop for one minute."

He stops and they tells him, "We have never asked sorry to anyone except our parents, since childhood. But, we are now asking sorry to you. We apologize for doing a lots of mistakes and crimes against several women." They fall in his feet and dies.

Ram peacefully walks away with Anjali from her house, because the place is turning darker slowly. He and Anjali gets married, after a few days later.

Five months passes and Ram is now happily working as the ACP of Ooty with Akhil as his colleague. Now, they are called by their senior police officer. Because, they have to investigate another new case.
