Eternal Embrace

Eternal Embrace

A century's quarter, spent in search of solace. A simple soul dreams of being loved and cared for.

The creme of dreams always fogged up, but in her space, never seemed to shine up.

A soulmate was on the look-out and was endless. The search mode was always on, constantly trying, but seemingly endless.

Casting new dreams each time she faces rejection.

Unaware of the underlying differences that caused it.

In the process of finding her eternal solace, she had to push through hardships of certain relationships. Gaining some & losing many.

The roads were rough and rugged, imbibed with hurt, tough times. She saw no fall-back. She dragged herself for progress.

Entrepreneur skills were adorned, courage woven, stubbornness strengthened.

Her journey was seeming endless, directionless, and reality was harsh.

‘Can I find my eternal solace?’, was her doubt, each time she almost reached her destination.

Her search was not simple, dreams were not simple and tough to achieve.

‘Am I not capable of driving through?’ were her thoughts.

In the fight for her own independence, she stood bold & strong. Paved her path through untrodden roads, gained popularity and she could see through a clear road ahead.

While the sun decided to shine on her, she also found her solace that brought smiles & satisfaction.

Chinni was elated to drive forward with her newly-found soulmate. Bringing joy to herself & people around her, she spread the blanket of warmth around her feeling as cozy as ever. Joys had no bounds, every moment was happiness, every day a new day. Life seemed like a rose garden to stroll along the smiling sun. ‘Have I found my eternal solace?’, she questioned after her long long wait.

Little did Chinni realise then that this new spark in her life was seemingly short-lived as reality overpowered her fanciful dreams.

She didn't know that there were dark clouds gathering again in her life. As life destines one to its life’s path, she had to take the rough road ahead.

Soon, she was to take the highway zone to reach her to be destiny. This deviated her away from the sunlit pathway.

Knowing what may come ahead she started pushing herself again.

The road seemed secure, but unexplored.

The destined view was foggy again. Creating new avenues to everyday’s hurdles of the journey, she strived along. Masking all the check-posts that were faced, crossing through all the outskirts of her journey, she was making footprints of memories throughout.

Little did Chinni realise that she was using up her youth to journey tough. Her angelic view was a destination filled with happiness, smiles & laughter. ‘Am I strong enough to drive through?’, she asked herself several times.

What kept Chinni strongly moving ahead, was something so insignificant through the eyes of an onlooker. So very minute, that could be dismissed by another.

The universe speaks. The universe holds us. The universe takes control of us through strong forces.

What was Chinni’s strength?

In her possession were hard rock memories that sustained her weakened soul. All the pleasant days, all the comforting words, all the warmth of the soulmate was etched in her innocent soul.

Each day of her journey through the highway for years on and on the universe held her strong, giving her courage and stamina to journey along.

Each moment she felt the old warmth. Each hour was a struggle in the soul. Each day was a look-ahead task. Each year an achievement in pain.

Years passed but her inner strength was just because of her support from the universe that connected her to her soulmate.

Memories may fade in the light of a new day as another may replace it. But for her that never happened. As the sun never seemed to show-up amidst the foggy clouds.

Chinni’s eternal solace was just the memories that were created and saved. Memories of laughter, of innocence, of silly fights, of understanding life, of overcoming pain, of positive reinforcement and on and on.

‘Where was she drawing that energy from everyday?’

Each morning she woke up to embrace that fuel of love.

Each morning she waited for the cup of joy to be filled

Each morning she absorbed the warmth to keep her going the whole day.

Each morning she refreshed her memory of good times.

This routine of the morning sun-rays lasted fourteen years and many more.

Fourteen the count learnt to be called ‘ivory’. The symbol of love and purity.

How powerful was the bonding that completely filled up the void space of a true soulmate.

It is always believed that the universe provides what you strongly and sincerely want. Chinni had strongly grasped the soulmate in her thoughts, never to let go. Making her journey always backed with a strong force.

‘What provided the immense touch of bliss every day?’

Every morning as Chinni woke up, her weariness of the body would be treated with sufficient rest. But her mind needed the rays of recharge. She would rise from her semi-soft mattress, try to gear up for the calling day. Put-off the monotonous tune of the alarm and reach the circuit of the electric charging point. Plug-in the almost mandatory part of modern life, the cell phone, without which the day would be rather difficult. Turn-on the mandatory digital partner, WhatsApp. At this point her longing eyes would peer through the messages to only find solace in viewing the words of love, care, comfort, and all that she would receive, if her adorable companion would be around.

She would wait to grasp her life back to the days of happiness.

As her heavy fingers scroll through the names of well-wishers, she chooses only one as priority. Her heart pounding heavily to find the magical charm embrace her eternally. She holds her breath as she clicks on the message travelled through the universe to her. The message that gives the spark of fuel to last the whole day. The message that contains just two magical words, ‘Good morning’.
