Enlightenment

The alarm chimes real early and I wake up in a jiffy. I can't afford to snooze lest my children get late for school. I rummage the kitchen for a suitable breakfast spread, make tea, cook lunch, pack tiffins, wake my husband and kids.

I feed them all pack them off.

I practise my yoga, iron my clothes and rush to office.

I come back to a hectic evening, homeworks, dinner, cleaning...

Phew, I sigh end of the day, I crash into bed too tired to move.

If only I was a superhero, I lament...

And just at that very moment, realization dawns.

I am a wife, a daughter, a mother, a bread winner. I might not be perfect but I manage everything under the sun and I still look forward to the next day.

I don't have to be a Superhero, I AM ALREADY ONE!!
