Dr Nitya - VIII

THIS STORY IS IN CONTINUATION TO MY STORY DR. NITYA - VII DTD. Dec. 29th, 2021.

Dr. Nitya landed at Delhi airport and was happy to see that Dr. Chaitanya was waiting there for her. He helps her bring her luggage up to his car. Both of them sit in the car.

Dr. Chaitanya turn the car to his house so Nitya look with a question mark and says , Surekha is going to be there at my house, so he says, " no she told me that she has some urgent work so won't be able to come , but she will come and prepare lunch. She tried to contact you but obviously, your phone was not reachable as you were in flight ."

Chaitanya quickly go to the kitchen and bring two mugs of coffee for them. His two suitcases were lying in the living room which is because he had to travel to his hometown in two days.

Chaitanya drop Nitya home and help her take luggage inside and tell her, I am coming in the evening as your mother told me that she has sent my favorite sweets , but before that, see you in the hospital, take some rest and come, it's ok I will tell your senior.

Nitya feel so lucky that she don't even have to say anything to Chaitanya, and he does everything for her convenience.

After some time Surekha, Nitya's cook cum assistant at home, comes and prepares lunch for her. In the meantime, Nitya unpack her bag and take out all snacks and sweets that she got for Chaitanya, Surekha, and also her senior and juniors in hospital.

Nitya get ready for duty, have lunch, and leave. All in the hospital welcome and greet her. First she go and meet her senior and also give him some snacks and sweets. senior tell her to meet Dr. Chaitanya and get the details on happenings so that dr Chaitanya can hand over all files.

Dr. Nitya knock on the cabin door and dr Chaitanya tell her to come in. He handover all the files to her and explain all details. The next day was a holiday and after that Dr.Chaitanya had to leave for his hometown in Andhrapradesh.

Here Nitya's mother and Chaitanya's mother were in contact , I mean secretly in contact , and were making their plans .

In the evening Chaitanya come to Nitya's house where Surekha was also there  .He tells Surekha to bring murukku , banana and jackfruit wafers , and special coconut sweet burfi that Nitya's mother always makes. So Nitya give him his stuff, which he keep inside, and tells them that I won't unpack here, I will take this home. Surekha will give me from your share. Nitya just smile and tell Surekha by just pointing her finger to where she had kept her stuff.

This is how Chaitanya was. So loving and free in thinking because he used to show his belongingness towards Nitya, her mother, and her family.

Nitya tells Surekha to make special lunch for tomorrow for herself and Chaitanya, like spinach and paneer recipe, some sweet and other items. And was going to invite Chaitanya for lunch but before that only he says that yes I will come at 12: 30 or so.

This time Nitya was not feeling sad for Chaitanya when he was leaving but she was happy for him as after a long time he was going home and that too for some good reason.

Chaitanya reaches home after travel of night and one full day. His parents and sister were so happy to see him. His mother cooked all favourite dishes of Chaitanya, and they all have their dinner together and had lots of talks. Chaitanya goes to his room saying that we will discuss things related to Athvika's marriage proposals and all tomorrow morning because now I need some rest.

Chaitanya calls up Nitya and talks to her for a few minutes before going to sleep. 

The next day morning Chaitanya gets up early in the morning. His father was reading the newspaper on the balcony whereas his mother was in the kitchen. Chaitanya go to the kitchen and tell his mother to add one cup of coffee for him too as she was making coffee.

Chaitanya and his parents sit on the balcony to have coffee and also to talk regarding proposals that are finalized for his sister for further talk and final decision. Chaitanya had already seen the pictures and biodata of boys, that Athvika had sent him on WhatsApp.

In the meantime, Athvika also comes and join them. They collectively decide that from the next day only they will start meeting boys and their families and accordingly Chaitanya's father had to inform the parents and fix the time of the meeting.

Chaitanya tells his mother that he is going to the seaside as one of his friends is going to come there to meet and it will be a nice morning walk in the fresh air and a beautiful place that he always missed in Delhi.

As decided Athvika and all meet the boys, one was a doctor, and others a software engineer and businessman. All were from decent families. Athvika decides on a software engineer, as she finds this proposal most suitable for her and the family as a whole. They were from the same city as theirs, Vizag where she was working too. Also, this family was known to their relatives.

Chaitanya and Athvika 's  parents also like the boy and his family. So their decision is conveyed to the family and the next meeting is arranged for next Sunday since Chaitanya was here and they wanted to finalize on marriage date and other things.

Everything gets decided like marriage after six months, Venue and all . Both the families wanted that function will be in presence of family members, close relatives and friends, and a few neighbors. Boy's family doesn't put any demands about jewelry and other things as they belonged to educated and well  to do family and very simple people.

The next day morning Chaitanya call Nitya and give this good news about Athvika. She feels so happy to know this. She congratulate the family and tell Chaitanya that she will call him in the night as she had to get ready for going on duty.

Here Chaitanya's mother sees that he is still smiling even after disconnecting the call so she asks him, With whom were you talking, Chaitanya? So good to see you so happy. So he says I was talking to Dr. Nitya. so her mother asks, ohh dr. Nitya who is from Trivandrum ? So he says, yes.

Chaitanya still had 10 more days to spend with his family. The purpose for which he had come was now already solved. Now he was just going to relax, and do some outings with his parents and sister. Meet some relatives and friends, do shopping and enjoy the holidays. Also, he was enjoying talking to Nitya on phone regularly and also sometimes chatting on WhatsApp. 

Will Chaitanya's mother get success in knowing what's going on in his mind? Regarding his future, his marriage plans? his feelings for Nitya? Will Chaitanya open up on this subject with his family? All these answers will be in the next part of the story.
