Day 3: Royal Blue: Who Helped Me?

It was a cloudy day with an even cloudier sky. I was flying my DC-9 aircraft all alone. Well, it had to be all alone since it was a one-seater aeroplane. I was travelling from one air base to another since I had to catch up with my family in another city, another part of India. Despite the threatening black clouds I had chosen to fly my aircraft, mostly due to the light air traffic.

I saw a storm brewing, but I was sure I would be well clear of it by the time I crossed it. My calculations proved wrong. I got stuck in the black storm. Menacing as it was, it engulfed in a pure black 'aura' of itself.

Visibility was down to zero.

I could not see anything. I was sure this was my end.

But out of nowhere came a plane. Its pilot asked me to follow it. I did, having no choice. And I was saved. He drew me out of the storm to the nearest airport.

We both landed.

But when I thanked him, he was nowhere to be seen. I enquired in the airport control room but was told that it was just my own aircraft that had landed. I was baffled but the lady in charge laughed at me for believing in this figment of my imagination. I had landed my own in this storm. Impossible, I claimed.

I was not sure who helped me. Maybe it was God? Or myself?

No, I am sure it is divine energy.
