Bluish
Bluish
As soon as he took a sip of black coffee, his head feels lighter. Standing on the third-floor balcony of the Dew Drop Apartment, Abhigyan saw group of clouds floating in the distance. It looks like it's going to shower the whole night. In the heat and lockdown, the lifestyle is completely out of whack. The khaki men don't even let anyone stand in the park. They are confined to their homes all day. They wake up and log in to their laptops, then get up only during breaks to take a bath or to have meal for which they used to order online. There is no escape from this life. Although Abhigyan was released from this hectic life a week ago.
The white clouds in the evening sky look like fluffy cotton. The weather is quite pleasant. Abhigyan's mood brightened. He started singing a two-line romantic song. Suddenly, he stopped the song in between as he saw the sudden change in the color of the clouds. Instead of being dark-gloomy, it turned pale blue. Then it changed direction and ran towards his balcony. Realizing the situation, he slammed the balcony door shut. Immediately, the gloomy blue cloud fell on the balcony door. Its' solemn roar did not escape his ears. Abhigyan silently went and sat on the chair. The light in the room flickered and went out. As soon as he sat on the chair, he realized that his familiar room was suddenly becoming unrecognizable. Wherever he looked, his vision was being jostled by the solid wall of darkness. He groped for the switch board, but was a little surprised to feel the switch off. He was alone, so who turned off the switch, he thought, and turned on the light switch. To his surprise, the lights in the room were not on. By now, his eyes were tired, and he thought, may be the power had gone out. Then he opened the balcony door. The blue-white clouds had changed their appearance into a dark blue mist. That mist was enveloping him. It was enveloping his conscious being. He was slowly losing control over his senses. In a state between consciousness and unconsciousness, he felt the air tremble. The atmosphere in the room had become quite heavy. He would have followed if a pair of hands had not caught him. The gentle breath was now on his face. He realized that a pair of hands were embracing him. The hands were soft as velvet. With half-open eyes, he sees the embraced female figure. The blue-skinned figure slowly rises and sits on his lap. The temperature drops few degrees. It must be raining somewhere. The blue-skinned female figure rises from above him and steps onto the floor. The naked woman loosened the thread of his trousers. She peeled off the piece of cloth and slid it down his legs to the floor. Abhigyan said with a choked voice, "I...I was standing on the balcony, how did I come here? And who are you? You came straight to my bed." The blue girl held the index finger of her right hand over her lips and made the sound "ssss". Then, like a reptile, she climbed up his legs and sat on his entrance. Excitement ran through Abhigyan's entire body. Now the blue girl leaned over his face. The touch of her cold body made Abhigyan feel cold too. Now the blue girl hugged him tightly. The two bodies started to curl like conch shells. Abhigyan surrendered himself to that girl. He felt that the blue girl was slowly drifting with him on the path of eternity. She crossed geographical boundaries and entered an unknown level. The blue girl probably resides in this level of the layer.
A few days later, the people of the apartment broke down the door after a foul smell came from Abhigyan's flat and found his body lying in his bedroom. Then, without further delay, they informed the police. When the police arrived, they found that the body was completely bloodless. It looked like someone had pumped blood out of the body and dumped it. They told the police that they had not seen Abhigyan outside for the past week. Unable to determine whether it was murder or suicide, the police sent the body for postmortem. Abhigyan has no one to call his own, having died in the epidemic, so unable to contact anyone, the police leave his house with his mobile phone and half-dranked coffee mug.
As soon as his mobile phone was fully charged, the police called his office boss and summoned him. According to the call list, he had called his boss several times before his death, but Mr. Boss did not answer his call.
According to the postmortem report, Abhgyan died of a heart attack. However, the police investigation revealed that Abhigyan was fired from his job by his boss a week ago. Therefore, according to the police's conclusion, he already had no one in his family, so he became even more lonely after losing his job. That's why he chooses suicide. But is it even possible to commit suicide by draining all the blood from his own body? The police don't understand. As a result, the case is closed.
