Sailavihar shopping mall was like a hotspot as there was a huge crowd to take advantage of the seasonal offers. But Saurav was standing there alone with so many ambiguities as he was too much confused about his shopping. He decided to leave that place and purchase something later. He was so much irritated embracing the hustle and bustle and the grueling heat. When he was relishing a cold drink to curb his thirst near his car he could smell a familiar fragrance of perfume and after searching everywhere he noticed a lady crossed him and entered into the mall. He suddenly ran there unknowingly to search that lady but his every effort was proved futile and he came back. Then he decided to go with much frustration and moved his car towards his home. On his way home, he was rejoicing the pristine beauty of nature and the cornfields dotted with yellow flowers. The smooth breeze was touching him which forced him to reminisce something but he deliberately didn't try to commemorate the bitter past. The whole night he kept thinking about the lady and the fragrance.

With the passage of time, Saurav vanished that thrilling experience from his mind and heart but sometimes he endeavored to smell that fragrance in silence and feel the faster heartbeats.

One evening Saurav was standing at a bus stop to meet a friend. Blue patches of clouds could be seen in the northeast direction of the sky. The air was tremendously soothing. Suddenly that sweet and familiar fragrance touched him with the gush of wind. Saurav was enthralled by the fragrance of the known perfume. That acted as a madness within his heart and it dragged him towards it like a magnetic force. He was in quest of recognizing that appearance from whom that smell was coming. He was triggered by the unprecedented impulse to search that person. He searched everywhere like a mad near the bus stop. A sudden drizzling started and he recognized a lady wearing a red saree was enjoying every tiny drop of the drizzling throwing her umbrella and the fragrance was coming out of her wheat color body.

When that lady turned her face which was full of anguish and excitement Saurav couldn't believe himself. He felt as he was in a dream. She was his first and last girlfriend Nita. She was that lady who trampled down his love and turned down his request to accept him for his financial weakness and the pain of unemployment. Raindrops were falling with sweet rhythm. Nita was gazing at Saurav with all astonishment and she was like befuddled. Nita was glowing in her red saree and vermilion was dazzling on her forehead. Again all the bitter memories became fresh in front of him. He was dumbfounded and when he was about to leave that place Nita said, " I want to say something. Give me some time. I have so much pain to express. Don't go."

Saurav said, " Sorry! I am getting late."

Nita cried so bitterly which pulled Saurav towards her as he could not tolerate her crying. He said, " Finish your insult, humiliation, and prevention as soon as possible. I have no time."

Nita felt as she had done a great sin. She was mad for money, status, and wealth which didn't allow her to understand Saurav's love. She told with stammering that she needed his excuse. Her husband loved wine and money, not her. He preferred ultra-modern girls not her. He loved to watch romantic movies than her sweet word. She didn't want to live. Then she wept continuously with extreme anguish expressing her hidden pain. Saurav felt crying but kept his tears within his eyes and didn't tell even a single word. Again Nita pleaded, " Saurav! I need your love. Please accept me."

Saurav said, " I am married. I always want to become a necessary part, not an optional part."

It was getting darker. There was heavy rainfall. No one was there to give solace to Nita. There was also lightning in the sky. Saurav gave a scornful look to her and departed that place briskly. He even didn't give a single look to her. He closed the door of his car and started it to leave that place.

Saurav was still a bachelor but he told lie to Nita because he didn't want to accept that selfish soul who deceived him and once devastated his life only for money. Who could not try to understand the real value of his love and respect? Saurav wept unknowingly as he had a deep attachment with Nita.

Real love never dies, it comes back but Its acceptance depends on the circumstances.
