Beginning Of A Love Story

There was a sweet little girl living in Gurgaon, Haryana. She lived in a joint family where her uncle aunt was not good to her, with two brothers and parents. Her parents' financial condition was not so good and they used to be mostly involved in the family issues. The girl felt neglected sometimes. Her parents could not understand her thoughts and she used to long for a life partner who would always understand her and love her no matter what. However, she concentrated on her studies and decided to do something in her life so that she does not have to suffer like her parents. The difficult time made her more strong and but inside she was very soft and emotional. She completed her education and became a Chartered Accountant. She started working as an internal auditor in a bank. Her mother had told her that in case she finds someone with whom she would like to marry, they are fine. She was a very simple girl. She sometimes got attracted to some of the boy's basis their physique or knowledge but no one ever touched her heart. 

In March 2020, lockdown happened in the entire country. Many people lost their jobs including her father. Also, her father had symptoms of COVID. He self-medicated, drank 'kadha' and took a rest. He was cured in some weeks. But he got afraid that what would happen if he had died. He thought to find a suitable match for her daughter. She didn't refuse considering her father's wish. However, she wanted to get married after 2 years when her brother would complete his education and start earning. She also tried to explain to her father if he could wait for 2 years as she would support the family financially. But her father explained to her that everything would be managed. 

Many proposals came but mostly demanded a huge sum of the money as 'dowry'. The girl refused to marry in any family where dowry is demanded. Then, one day, her father went to a shop where he used to buy grocery items and shared his daughter's bio-data. They offered to get her married to their son. Then a formal meeting was arranged and they met in a restaurant. 

It was a new experience for both of them. Both were a little nervous as it was the first meeting. They exchanged their thoughts about marriage. The girl was a little worried as the family seemed a little orthodox. But her father convinced her to marry him. They got married and in the new home, the girl started to adjust. Her mother-in-law was very supportive and so was her husband. She continued working in the bank managing her work and home. It was difficult but everything worked out. Soon, the girl and her husband started feeling for each other. They could not tolerate each other's pain. They love their company and forgive each other for their mistakes. He was very caring and loving towards her and vice versa. Sometimes they used to fight as well. But then they talked and resolved their issues. When the mutual respect turned into love, no one came to know. They could not live without each other. When the girl went to her parent's home, both of them missed each other so much. 

Soon they were going to be parents and it is just the beginning of their love story. It's a kind of a love story that is generally not considered a love story just because they tied the knot under arranged marriage and their love story started after their marriage. Love has no language, no criteria, it's a feeling where there is respect, understanding, care and honesty. #lovelanguage is difficult to define. Every love story is unique on its own.
