The only choice she had was to clear the exam for admission in government medical college. She worked very hard for the same. But she could not get the desired college in the first attempt. She again reattempted the exam and got admission in the best medical college in India. She completed her education with sheer dedication and hard work. She had to work in late night shifts, sometimes two three shifts together, and at the same time study for the various exams. It was very difficult phase of her life. However, she managed it so well.

After completing her MBBS and MD, she started working in a hospital where she fell in love with another doctor. They both decided to get married and start their own practice. Now she had to manage between her work, husband and both the families. It was very hectic. She could not complete her sleep. She had to work at home and then at hospital. At that time, her mother-in-law showed as a helping hand. She asked her to focus on her career and she will manage the home. Prema didn't have to be worried about the household related chores.

Apart from being a doctor, she had passion for dancing. She thought to take out some time to practice dancing. Every Sunday, she started giving time for her hobby. It made her so much happy and fulfilling. Everything was going smoothly when her mother-in-law got cardiac arrest and she died. Soon after her sad demise, she got to know that she was pregnant.

Now not only her helping hand was not there, the support she needed during pregnancy was not there. She was tensed, she had to give more attention to the family and her health. She reduced her work time and started giving more time to family. She was emotionally weak at that time. Her husband also helped her manage both work and family. He also took care of her health.

One day, she was preparing dinner and she started feeling labor pain. They immediately went to the hospital. She gave birth to a beautiful daughter, whom she named after her mother-in-law as 'Shraddha'. Now, Prema had to give more time to the new-born child. She took maternity leave for some time to recover and take care of her child. The birth of Shraddha had brought back the happiness in the family.

She wanted to resume work after six months but Shraddha was too small. She decided to take break from work for some more time. After 2 years, Shraddha started going to school. Prema resumed her practice. She even started dancing with her daughter. She was fulfilling all her responsibilities of household, mother, wife, daughter and most important towards her as she was working and fulfilling her passion for dancing as well. She is the ultimate example of #OneWomanMultipleHats.
