I was in great difficulty. I needed money badly. I had requested all my friends for loan but none of them came to my help.

In this miserable state, I was walking through the fields, thinking anxiously how to get money for my immediate needs. All my friends and relatives had given me a blank refusal. It was a question of honor and prestige. If by next Monday, I was unable to pay off rupees five thousand to my creditors, my name would suffer. I felt extremely depressed.

Disappointed and lost in deep thought, as, I was walking through the fields my eyes suddenly fell on a shining coin lying half-hidden in the ground. When I scratched the earth with my fingers, another appeared and soon I was face to face with an earthen pitcher full of silver coins. I counted them. There were more than thousand coins! It could easily pay off my debt. What an unexpected piece of luck! Overjoyed, I prayed to God with folded hands for his generous help in my hour of need.
